I had originally wanted one of their smaller rooms, but by the time I made up my mind they were booked. Jennifer offered my husband and I the one bedroom house and it was more than we needed or expected! I felt like we could’ve fit several more people there; it was huge! It was a brief walk from the beach, restaurants, stores; everything you could need or want! I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay at Rodrigo's AirBnB. Clean, quiet, nicely appointed, and great views although a little farther from the beach than I expected. The only negative was that the air conditioning worked but was not very strong and I prefer to sleep cold. Definitely recommend.

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Arbel’s house in Tamarindo! The property was stunning—clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with all the amenities we needed for a perfect vacation. The pool was a highlight, and the location was ideal, just a quick drive to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Arbel was an exceptional host, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Communication was prompt and friendly, making us feel truly welcomed. We’d highly recommend Arbel’s place to anyone visiting Tamarindo and can’t wait to return

¡Nos encantó todo del lugar! Súper privado, perfecto para desconectarse y relajarse. Disfrutamos muchísimo de la piscina y el jacuzzi. La cocina está completamente equipada, lo que hizo todo más cómodo. Cada cuarto tiene su propio baño, camas king súper cómodas y aire acondicionado, así que el descanso fue perfecto. Además, está a solo un corto trayecto en carro de Playa Frijolar, ideal para disfrutar de atardeceres espectaculares en un entorno tranquilo y poco concurrido . Fueron las vacaciones ideales para nosotros. Sin duda regresaremos, ¡más que recomendado! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had such a relaxing and enjoyable stay at this spot! The place was super clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The location was great, quiet and peaceful, but still close to all the essentials. Loved the vibe of the space, and the host was really responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a calm and cozy stay!

Un sitio realmente bonito al que vale la pena ir. Una mezcla de tranquilidad e integración con el medio con mucho confort. Muy bonitas las habitaciones y una piscina muy chula. Todo el equipo está pendiente y hacen caso a tus consultas. También es un lugar que está muy limpio. Vale la pena ir.

What a special place tucked away in Punta Islita, yet still a part of the larger hotel/resort amenities. Exceeded expectations. Perfect for 2 families joining up for a vacation, who need a kitchen, laundry and pool yet can still figure out some adult private time. Loved the proximity to the beach, pool and bar there. It's a 10 min walk on a walkway covered by trees for most of it- needed in the dry/hot season. It was super helpful to be connected with site manager/concierge, he and Nancy both helped with questions. We did a bunch of activities (saw monkeys with a guide right outside and surfed) and got to relax. Very worth the bumpy ride out. Have your 4x4 and your all set.

Great spot on the quieter end of town yet still close to everything. Beach access across the street with several great restaurants within a 5-10 min walk and a small bodega within 100 ft for food and wine. What else could you ask for?

Hotel Balu really feels like a getaway within the paradise of Costa Rica. The rooms are private, clean and secure and the amenities are ample. The property is beautiful - the pools are really neat and the yoga shala and large community dining area are well equipped and really make it easy to meet other guests and foster a sense of community and Pura Vida. We admittedly had a hiccup with check-in due to some unplanned repairs, but Logan was understanding and apologetic about the situation and worked with me to make it right with very little issue. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the stay and will be sure to recommend it to friends!

Mills La Maria is beautiful. Clean and inviting. Roberto was a great host. He was very accommodating and helpful. We actually got there too early for check-in but he helped us get to a local (and beautiful) restaurant to wait while the room was being prepared. Great access to the beach and walkable to several restaurants and supermarket. We had a great stay…complete with wonderful sights [and sounds] of Costa Rica.

Remarkable, immaculately designed and kept luxury villa. A little bit off the beaten path. Nearest airport being Liberia (LIR), 2 hrs away and you’ll need a 4x4 to get there. Having said that, this place is absolutely a hidden gem you won’t want to leave in a hurry. Note: it is a remarkably large property and we could easily have fit another family of 5 (alongside us) and not seen each other for days. Hosts were always responsive and communicative and made our stay memorable and easy.

Coltin’s place was amazing! His attention to detail is immaculate. Everything I needed he was able to provide. I will definitely be returning.

We traveled with another couple and this home was perfect for our 4 night stay! Two master bedrooms with adjoining bathrooms, nice kitchen, and an amazing outdoor pool space! Jaime was quick to respond to any question we had and made us feel right at home! We even got to see howler monkeys near the house and fell in love with Lola, the parrot that lives in the area! We hope to be back-Pura Vida!

Erin & Peter are great host, they are great communicating if anything happens or needs to be addressed. House is stunning with a priceless view of the beach. About a ten minute ride into Nosara. You can tell Erin & Peter care about their tenants and that is worth a lot when traveling. Highly recommend!

I spoke mostly with Mario and his brother. They were amazing. The place is beautiful! Amazing view of the mountains at sunset and stars at night!

Great lodging here. The treehouse is charming and full of character. The surroundings are filled with nature and beautiful animals (including the separate and well-attended doggie rescue). This was a very pleasant retreat and I would return there if I was back in that side of Guanacaste. Also, the beaches are close from a driving perspective.

My group had a great experience staying at this home. the home was just like the pictures. Juan Carlos was really responsive and helpful with booking the shuttle from the airport as well as activities. You definitely need an ATV to get to this home, so would highly recommend you rent one and take into account the cost of renting it too.
