We had the loveliest of times at The Poet’s House. The location is amazing, private, surrounded by nature but close to all we needed. The house is so beautiful, peaceful and has incredible energy, it’s beautifully decorated making it a very pleasant environment to rest and relax. The beds were very comfortable, lots of amenities, complete kitchen, extra pillows and towels, etc. The best thing is the hosts! Always responsive and kind, flexible, very helpful and welcoming. We would love to stay here again.

This is our second stay here and love the place. It has the older home charm that is so tastefully decorated. The kitchen has it all! Roomy and private. Sitting on the back porch watching the dogs run around the back yard is great! The fenced yard is large and very cleared our and safe for the pups, mine loved it! I could go on and on but find out for yourself! You may even make a sweet friend next door! Such a personable person!

My fiancé and I along with our 10 month old twin boys needed a place to stay last minute and Richard David came through in a big way. He made our stay very comfortable and flexible. He was very polite and responsive leaving us feeling at ease. Thank you, we would definitely recommend, and stay again.

From retired grandparents to working professionals, two small children, and even our dog, the house had something for everyone. The house was thoughtfully equipped with modern conveniences, making it both comfortable and functional. It truly felt like a home away from home, with cozy spaces to gather, a well-appointed kitchen, and plenty of room for everyone to relax. The owners clearly take pride in the property, and the attention to detail was evident. Whether it was enjoying family meals together, taking in the serenity of the lake, or simply spending quality time, this house offered everything we could ask for. We left with wonderful memories and would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Elizabeth’s charming home! Tucked away on a quiet street, it was the perfect spot for our quick trip to see a show at Bojangles’ Coliseum/Ovens Auditorium—just a 10-minute walk, which meant no stress over driving or parking. The house itself is cozy and full of character, with lots of thoughtful, unique touches. Everything was super clean, the beds were comfy, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you'd need (even though we didn’t cook much on this short visit). We didn’t get a chance to enjoy the beautiful backyard and sitting area, but it definitely added to the home’s inviting vibe. Elizabeth was also very responsive and kind when we reached out. Highly recommend this spot, and we’d absolutely stay again the next time we’re in town!

Olesya’s space is beautiful and exactly like the picture but better . The bed is super comfortable and also —well you gotta see it . The place is decorated with gorgeous and distinct accents . The neighborhood is walkable and close to the train line . Don’t hesitate , book now !

Perfect host! Very responsive and accommodating. We stayed here due to repairs being done to our home and Edward was most accommodating to our needs and allowed early check in. He responds practically immediately. He went above and beyond for our stay here. Much appreciated! Thank you a million times over!

Kristi and Amber are incredible hosts. Not only are they highly communicative, but they do so in a manner that makes you feel as if you are talking to an old friend: comfortable, casual, and caring. The property is located in a cozy, safe neighborhood and so close to the restaurants and new living areas in SouthEnd. We also just loved the mini-oasis located in the fenced in back yard area. We are so fortunate to have been able to even find this gem and for Kristi and Amber’s generous hospitality.

Highly recommend! It was private, peaceful, and the bed was SO great! The pool was beautiful, we did not get to enjoy it due to the weather — which we are so sad about! Next time :) We brought our babies with us and Jim made sure to have a gate at the top of the stairs and brought up a high chair and booster seat for them! We will be back!

I can’t say enough about this place. Was very beautiful, like a little oasis. The outdoors was fantastic. And the inside was so clean and modern and the little bottle of champagne and the waters was so nice. Definitely will be back

Super clean, peaceful neighborhood, close to lots of things. An easy 25 min drive from the airport. We stayed one night with our pup and it was perfect for us!

If you're like us and dig deep into the reviews, we want to correct some misinformation. The shower is larger than the standard 32", and we took successive unhurried showers and didn't run out of hot water. The location is private and quiet. Real value for the money.

Melissa’s place was very welcoming and felt like home. She has everything available you need and it is in a great location. Very close to everything. She’s a great host and we would definitely love to use her place again!

I stayed on Tuesday April 15th and I loved it so much. Very peaceful and a nice getaway. If you want the feeling like you are in the woods surrounded by nature this is the perfect spot for that. Leigh was the sweetest with good instructions and communication! Everything was very clean and they had nice amenities for their guest! This was a 10/10 experience for my first cottage and I will most definitely be back! Everything is very well put together and designed nicely! Thank you guys for a great stay after I had a bad experience with another host canceling my stay the day of me coming! You guys saved me and I truly appreciate accepting my last minute booking!

Kevin and Jordan are amazing! Make sure you do your part in cleaning up, Kevin and Jordan do a lot of the heavy lifting so it would be amazing if you could help them out and tidy up after yourself. Back balcony was an amazing hangout spot!

Our host were so helpful and friendly, we had a peaceful place to rest and unwind during our visit. I honestly can't thank them enough for their help with checking in, we arrived earlier than we expected and they were responsive and super helpful after a long drive. I will definitely try to book with them again on out next trip there!!

Jacob was very accommodating and communicative throughout our entire trip. He even issued refunds for the nights the power was out when it was beyond his control. The weather was crazy! We had a great experience and would definitely recommend!
