I wanted to stay somewhere that was walking distance to the amenities of Jolly Harbour (without having to hire a car/golf cart) and Anita’s place offered just that. In addition, my friend and I visited a number of beaches during our stay, but the one that is right on the doorstep was actually our favourite. There were a couple of things not working (eg one of the TVs) but this was all clearly explained from the start and did not negatively impact the stay. Communication was also excellent between Anita and Ulrike. I would definitely look to stay at Anita’s property again if it was available next time I visit beautiful Antigua.

This was one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed in! The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the attention to detail, like fresh towels and toiletries provided. Felecia is the manager of the villa not the owner. She is the most professional agent I have ever dealt with. We had a few issues while we were there but she organised tradesmen extremely quickly without fuss or bother. The villa is in a very quiet location and is very tidy and well equipped. There is a golf cart with the rental which is an absolute necessity if you do not plan to hire a car because the bars, restaurants are a 30 minute walk away. The Supermarket (Epicurian) is also a good distance away and the only one in the area but is very expensive. Beaches are close by with one about a five minute walk (no sun beds though) and Jolly beach is further but reachable with the golf cart. There are a few restaurants by the marina and all are expensive with varying levels of service from slow to very slow but it’s Antigua so you have to adapt to their pace. There’s a lot of building going on in Jolly Harbour especially by the Marina which is not too intrusive yet but it will ramp up.

The place is clean and modern and has all amenities. If something was missing, it was immediately taken care of. Lunessa & Fitz went above ans beyond as hosts, they were equal to a concierge service at a hotel. They booked cars, recommended places to eat and even made us reservations, replaced a lock when we couldn’t lock the door instantly. Reminded us our taxi was there when it was time to get to the airport. I’d recommend renting a car or a golf cart, as taxi’s can be expensive. Beach is a 10 min walk, so easy on foot too. Several restos close by and many excursions available around the island. They are extremely responsive and truly cared to make our stay perfect.

Gloria was quick to respond and reached out multiple times to check in on us. The air b and b is exactly as pictured. Jolly beach is less than a five minute walk from 225A and it’s about a 7 minute walk to the pool. Can’t wait to come back to Antigua and stay at Gloria’s place again!

From booking to checkout, the host was responsive and accommodating. We received a detailed welcome package of pertinent information about Jolly Harbor, things to do, from shopping, restaurants, transportation, and other services. My family and I felt right at home and safe. The home was exactly detailed as in the pictures. Very clean and cozy. We definitely intend to book again in the future . The host Jamie was awesome. This was our second stay at Starfish House and we fully intend to be back, we just love it so much! So what do we love about it? For one, you get this elevated, million-dollar view of the entire coastline, fleets of sailboats anchored offshore, and a veritable landscape painting’s worth of layered mountains and turquoise blue waters. It’s absolutely incredible. And the only tradeoff is the beach is about a 10 minute walk. But that leads to the next thing we love here: you’re within quick walking distance to 3 of the best beaches on the island (Ffryes, Valley Church, and Darkwood). They all have slightly different character/vibes and it’s fun to rotate beaches based on your mood or your plans for the day. Whereas if you stay at a hotel right on the beach, not only do you lose the view, but you tend to stay at the same beach all week. We also love having the extra space and a fully working kitchen on-hand. This place is awesome! Oh, and Jamie’s been so great to us!! Thanks Jamie!!

The house is a lovely, modern design all on one level. The outside area has a 180 degrees panoramic view of Falmouth Bay which you never get bored of looking at! We did stay in another house in the area too which had a feeder for attracting humming birds and this would be a nice touch for the breakfast terrace of Star House as there are some hibiscus plants in the garden. Excellent selection of restaurants in Falmouth Harbour to suit all budgets and two particular favourites of ours in the slightly more expensive range were in English Harbour - Pillars in Nelson’s Dockyard and the Italian restaurant Incanto on the opposite quayside. If you visit Nelson’s Dockyard you have to buy an entrance ticket but if you tell them where you are staying they will date it so that you can make multiple visits for the whole duration of your stay.

A fabulous location with all the amenities but the choice of whether to go all inclusive or not. We enjoyed travelling out of the resort to find different local restaurants, but you have different options for dining in if you want. The villa is a fabulous tranquil spot, only a short walk to the beach, or the different pool options. With the gym and tennis or pickleball nearby too, this was an ideal location.

Carib House was a wonderful retreat for our family trip. The house was laid out in a way that was conducive to family time yet also allowed private time. The views are stunning. The kitchen was well equipped (loved the cookware) and we were able to eat in quite a bit. Lou was extremely helpful with information about local activities. And when Tropical Storm Ernesto came through our last day she was available to help us know what to do to ride it out. The maid service was so lovely....it really enabled us to enjoy our vacation even more. Do not hesitate to stay at Carib House. We will definitely stay again when we next visit!

Susan has to be the best host we have ever had. She was so sweet leaving us groceries for breakfast and beverages because we arrived late in the day. She arranged for us to be picked up from the airport and arranged a golf cart. The property was exactly as described and had some of the most beautiful views. The walkway was tough but once you are there, you really have no need to leave the property. We had an amazing stay, very private. Would highly recommend!! A big thank you to Richard, our taxi driver, and his wife. Both incredibly friendly and Richard was kind enough to answer my million questions about the country! Susan made our vacation incredible and we are so grateful for the amazing hospitality and memories that we made. Thank you so much Susan! This property has everything you could possibly need or want.

This house is delightful, great location, close to Jolly harbour, 10 minutes walk for the supermarket, car hire, bar’s & restaurants and Jolly beach. Hazel is delightful, she is the very responsive local host, she saw us in and out and responded immediately when we had questions. Lava is a great local driver who picked us up from the airport and took us when we needed him, or you can just walk down the drive and get on the local bus. The house is large and well fitted with all we needed. Lovely birds visiting the garden. A good sized pool to dip into. We enjoyed being at this independent location, as opposed to being in one of the lovely but large resort hotels around the island. Alistair responded quickly, before and during our trip. As he advised, it’s well worth getting a car to explore the island and it’s 365 beaches for at least part of your stay Antigua is lovely & very easy to do Thank you Alistair don’t bother going to Shirley Heights on Sunday, crowded with long Q’s

I would thoroughly recommend staying at the White House. English Harbour is probably the best place on the island and you are within a short walk of all amenities. Great restaurants, beaches, walks, bars, etc. The view over the harbour from the house is amazing. The house is comfortable and spacious while the gym on the property way exceeded expectations; it is big with plenty of equipment. There is also a small food cafe outside the gym that serves amazingly smoothies and breakfast bowls as well as wraps for lunch. Very convenient. Gary is a great host, helpful and responsive and their app is very useful with everything you need to know. Will definitely stay here again. Only word of warning, remember you are in the tropics so there are a lot of mosquitoes in the evening and early morning.

Villa Tyler was a delivery and we enjoyed staying there every single. Regrets 10 days just passed by fast, wanted more days. Will stay there again. Highly recommended.

Great location, near a beautiful beach (our favourite so far!!) and direct access to the water for my SUP!! The house had beautiful views from the balcony and patio. It was spacious, had everything you need to cook and has washer/dryer facilities. Air con worked well. Added bonus was UK plug adapters as we forgot ours!! You will definitely need a car or golf cart to get around. The supermarket in the complex is the best we have found so far and the only place that seems to sell fresh milk. El Porto was reasonably priced, food was good and there was live music on Monday.

Stacey was very responsive. That is a huge plus especially when we are tired from traveling and not familiar with the island. Her partner was there to greet us and he provided a tour. We had decided to rent a golf cart and it was at the property waiting for us when we arrived. There was a small issue and Stacey had someone come take care of us immediately. The property is picturesque, close to the beach and very comfortable. There is also a small grocery within walking distance which provided what we needed to be able to eat in. The tv was set up with a Firestick and ready for use. Nice little surprise. Overall was a wonderful stay! Would recommend to anyone.

We had an amazing stay at Bryan's rental house! The space was perfect—bright, clean, and very comfortable, with plenty of room to relax. The neighborhood felt incredibly safe, which gave us peace of mind throughout our trip. One of the best parts was the location— just a short walk to the beach, which made it super easy to enjoy the beautiful Jolly beach. Sandra's bar at the beach was also great, we loved having a tasty punch while watching the sun setting down. We also loved having access to the pool, our son made few friends which was lovely. Next to the pool are the tennis courts, we enjoyed a lesson with the coach. There are some fantastic restaurants nearby, with a variety of options from casual spots to more upscale dining. Plus, there’s supermarket (Waitrose) close by and couple of fresh fruit and vegetable stands outside of the shop. Overall, this place had everything we were looking for. We’d absolutely stay here again. Bryan was super responsive - thank you!

The private deck and garden are outstanding. There is a wide variety of exotic plants and visiting animals, including hummingbirds, lizards, and snails. The villa overlooks a beautiful harbour and hillls. The location is excellent - 5 minute walk to Jolly Beach, 8 minute walk to a well-stocked supermarket (Epicurean), good access to restaurants, bars, water sports, tour agents and transport. The villa is in a neighbourhood of similar villas facing the harbour. We felt quite private and secure. Chris and Katie were very responsive, provided helpful and structured information and were very flexible, including in respect of late check-out.

Our stay was excellent. We ended up having to stay a little longer than intended, but we got lots of great help from host to accommodate us. Very happy with this stay. Thank you.

We really liked this place. It was both close to the facilities around Jolly Harbour, but away from the main shops and houses, which may it feel really private. The sun terrace and pool were great spaces to hang out in as the evening set in and the front room was spacious and relaxing after dark. Each bedroom has a really nice en suite facility and large shower and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. Walter came to see us a couple of times and was very friendly. There is currently some construction going on futher down the hill. Most of the time it was pretty quiet, but only a couple of times was there a little more noise. Walter couldn't apologise enough and even gave us a bottle of wine, which was very nice of him! Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Une magnifique villa dans un cadre tranquille et proche de la mer. Parfait pour visiter les plages alentours. La villa est super bien équipée pour cuisiner, la piscine est sécuritaire pour les enfants, mes petits de 3 ans avaient pieds sur toute la longueur!! Un incroyable séjour, je recommande vivement, les 4 chambres et 3 salles de bain sont très commodes pour les groupes et l’épicerie est a distance de marche.
