The perfect way to stay along the beautiful upper Mississippi River. There is a direct view of the main channel from the cabin where we could watch river barges churning by occasionally and all the various birds. This location offers easy access to the effigy mounds monument park and Praire du Chien as well as other small river towns. It’s a taste of the river rat life with all the amenities. The lower patio at river level with the hottub was our choice hangout spot.

Bill and Nicole's house is immaculate and very centrally located in Decorah. They have thought of everything you might need for a stay and keep a very clean and attractive house. The walkability is excellent; easy access to the grocery store, coffee shop and several very good restaurants. With a little bit more walking it's easy to get to Pulpit Rock Brewery (excellent) and several more restaurant choices. The hosts are very responsive - we had a few questions about the house and they answered immediately. Overall this is is a fantastic place for a stay. Highly recommended.

We decided to spend the weekend in SW Wisconsin and stumbled upon this place. how lucky we were. Amazing value for such a lovely place. Upon entering the house there was a refreshing smell that my wife shared was knowing the place was recently cleaned. Instructions were clear but more than that the hosts always promptly responded to our queries, we're super helpful and proactive. The place was great in a very secluded area. we took walks at night and never encountered anyone but felt extremely safe. The facilities had everything we needed and more. highly recommend this place and plan on coming back later in the summer

Clean, spacious home. My wife and I stayed here with our teenage daughter for two nights. Parking required some attention to detail in figuring out the designated spot in the lot across the street, but the photo instructions from the host were clear. It was a short walk to ride the funicular. And we got to enjoy some excellent restaurants in the Millwork District.

We've been staying here for several years. Tom and Julie are great hosts. They are very responsive, give local recommendations and the house is always spotless. We will continue to return in the future.

As advertised. Very conveniently located in viroqua, walkable distance to many amenities (coffee shop, fly shop, groceries, Walgreens). Nice central place to rest after fishing.

As we are not real techy, we had a little trouble with the lock and the TV, but Grant came over and helped us! We enjoyed meeting both him and his fiancé!!

Hidden Hill Retreat was amazing. The house is beautiful with beautiful views. The house is so spacious, we didn't even use the den space in the basement. Tiffany reached out the day of check-in and made it easy to connect of we need anything. 10 out of 10, would recommend!
