We had a lovely stay and couldn't fault anything. The welcome was very friendly and the setting was stunning with the most amazing sea view. Great accommodation and we enjoyed talking to John about his sculpture and the history of the area. Nothing was too much trouble and the room was very comfortable. It was a great base to explore a fascinating part of the English coastline. Thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend wholeheartedly. We will definitely revisit.

A lovely, well kept and spacious apartment, ideal for a long weekend. Peaceful and cosy for winter breaks, with outside space for summer too. With quality towels, toiletries and bedding for extra comfort. Perfectly located, just a short walk from St Leonard's Warrior Square train station, close to the cafes and vintage stores on Norman Road and King's Road - and just a few minutes down to the Hastings seafront. Very handy to be able to store our bags securely in the ground floor storage space between check out and our train departure too.

Our stay was perfect, the home was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed and more! You are within walking distance to Hastings and there a plenty of restaurants nearby.

I rented this flat for family, and they reported very positively. The flat had everything they needed, and was spotlessly clean. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and it was well equipped. Altogether a positive experience, I had a couple of queries beforehand, and Julian was helpful and quick to reply, and my family may well ask to stay again. Thank you very much.

Nice little apartment, walking distance to everywhere we needed to get to in Eastbourne. Had a minor issue when we first arrived which was quickly dealt with and went above and beyond to help. Very much appreciated.

We had a fabulous stay at Katie's lovely property. Such a warm and welcoming accomodation. Spacious, comfortable and beautifully appointed with lovely 'B/bee' touches. We would highly recommend and definitely stay again.

Stayed here for 3 days with my partner and we had such a lovely stay! Hosts went above and beyond to provide a space that felt like home and the space was so cosy and beautiful 😍 the view was stunning and just a relaxing way to escape from reality for a while. We really appreciated the little things like snacks / food / beverages available, as well as the easy to connect WiFi and Netflix availability. There are a lot of restaurants and bars around however we mostly just went to the gym / leisure centre and made use of the sauna and steam room 😂 highly recommended if you want an easy-going host and a peaceful retreat for you and your partner

It was very comfortable to stay there , like stay at my home. The free brunch was very impressive.

I’m incredibly grateful to have found this gem, especially during a time when I had to move out of my previous rental unexpectedly. Sam & Andy were so kind and flexible, offering me a long-term stay that made all the difference. The apartment itself has been perfect - peaceful, comfortable and exactly what I needed to feel settled and take care of myself during a slightly unsettling period. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I look forward to returning soon :) Highly recommended!

Lovely stay at Andrea’s apartment oozing with character. Andrea was extremely responsive and so accommodating . Andrea provided all those important essentials such as toiletries , washing up liquid, dishwasher and washing machine tablets. Great sofas so comfortable, Husband and I had one each so we could rest our tired legs ! Bed and Duvet were so comfortable too ! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in this lovely part of Tunbridge Wells being so close to the beautiful parks and the Pantiles. Thank you Andrea for a lovely stay !! Ian and Julie

Excellent host from start to finish. It really felt like Paul cares about his property and cares about his guests. The little touches of amazing fresh bread, milk, coffee, fruit etc were really kind and very much appreciated. I’d definitely stay here again and would highly recommend the apartment. Also the proximity to the restaurants and bars is perfect - not to near to hear the noise but only just a few minutes walk away….. and there are some really great restaurants and bars in the area. Thanks for a great stay.

Beautifully presented and thoughtfully refurbished property in an exclusive square in St Leonard’s. Nicky has a great eye for detail and interiors and has created a beautiful property in an ideal location local to Norman Street and Kings Road, the beachfront and the train station where trains to Brighton are frequent enough. Morning sunrise at the table looking out through the huge sash window in the lounge with a coffee was a real highlight. Nicky is a very helpful and responsive host always happy to support on all fronts. Thanks very much, highly recommend.

Paul was an incredible host, gave great information regarding his property. Paul went the extra mile to help regarding rubbish collection. There were many stairs but the view was worth the climb. Had a very peaceful stay, very quiet and the views were amazing. An open plan lounge and plenty of kitchen utensils plates etc. oven was spotless although we only cooked twice. Would have no hesitation in booking here again. Thank you Paul for making our lives less stressful after a big move

Came for the Easter weekend and absolutely loved this gorgeous apartment on the St Leonard’s seafront! Apart from the fact it’s beautifully decorated, warm and cosy, it has absolutely everything you’d need for a seaside stay, and much more. The attention to detail - from the welcome letter, local information, and bits & bobs for our dog - is like nothing we’ve experienced in an Air BnB before. To top it off, as it was Easter the hosts laid on a little Easter chocolate hunt for us, which despite being 40 and 44, we very much enjoyed! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it and we’ll definitely be back if visiting the area in future!

Just got home from a great stay at The Manhattan Apartment. The apartment is really spacious and well laid out. We loved the interiors and were so grateful that every day essentials were provided in situ such as soap and dishwasher tablets. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked dinner most nights which was great for us as we have young kids. The apartment is in a great location close to the train station and water front. We visited St Leonard’s and Hastings Old Town on foot and were so glad we were in the middle. It’s mentioned in the description that there can be some noise due to location and we experienced this on our first night but it didn’t go on too late and didn’t bother us at all. Good that we were pre warned though! Lorna was very helpful answering pre arrival questions and the arrival instructions were clear and easy to follow. We would definitely recommend her apartment as the perfect base for a break in Hastings!

We had a lovely relaxing stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The only issue I had was the strange noise the shower made, the first time I used it I wondered what was going on, also as the noise calmed the water got cooler and one side if the shower door came off it's runner. It didn't impact my stay and is easily fixed.

We absolutely loved our stay at No.83! We felt completely at home there and didn't want to leave. The flat is in a convenient location, extremely close to the train station and with plenty of bus routes nearby. There are lots of shops and amenities in the surrounding roads, as well as the seafront approximately 5 minutes walk down the road. The flat was beautiful, with pretty much everything we could possibly need - and anything it didn't have was easily solved thanks to the nearby shops. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and equipment, the guest login for the TV was extremely convenient, and the bed was super comfortable. We would happily stay at No.83 again!

We had a lovely stay in Alex’s flat, which is right in the heart of the Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells. It was a fantastic location, and we enjoyed exploring the local area. There is plenty to do for young families, including nearby Hever Castle, local parks and a heritage steam railway. We had a fantastic trip, and Alex was an excellent host. He was very responsive. The flat is very spacious and well equipped.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this apartment. James was so helpful, the location perfect and the accommodation very comfortable. We would highly recommend and hope to return.

We had a fantastic stay at Joanne’s while visiting family. Communication was excellent! Self-check-in was easy, with a lockbox near the front door. Joanne even made a point of leaving the lights on for us. So nice! The apartment was spotless, roomy, perfectly decorated, bright, and cheery. Comfy beds had soft duvets and extra blankets. Each bedroom had a desk for remote work. WIFI was speedy. The well-stocked kitchen open to the living room was perfect for catching up with family. Joanne thought of it all —robes, a hair dryer, power strips, water bottles, snacks, wine - to name a few. Friendly notes around showed how much Joanne truly loves hosting. The neighborhood was quiet. Street parking had restricted hours, so it required a bit of advanced planning, but the nearby car park had plenty of spaces, so it turned out fine—not an issue at all! We walked to The Pantiles daily, with endless shops and eateries along the way. We were sad to leave. We'll absolutely stay here again!

We really enjoyed a couple of months spent in this apartment. We are a family of 6 and we fit in really well. Location is close to Alexandra park with weekly activities for kids (Art in the park, free tennis sessions), large Morrison's. It was easy to get to the city center, historical center, Hastings library, Hastings Museum and Aquarium. The bus stop is 20 meters from the house, which was perfect for a car-free family. We had minor problems with some things breaking during our stay and Katie helped us immediately. There are many activities and board games, perfectly equipped kitchen, nice and spacious garden with occasional squirrels, cats and birds. One time we forgot a garbage outside and met a badger, not recommended :))))

This is a top notch airbnb. the friendly care of the owner comes over through all elements. It is spacious and the patio is a fantastic suntrap. I cannot recommend it enough. Do not be put off by parking as long as you can walk for 5 mins. We found free parking in Gordon Road every time.
