Great experience. Area is peaceful and relaxing. Lots to do outdoors, close to the Meramec River and Onondaga Cave state park. Recommend this area for anyone that enjoys outdoor adventure. I had a wonderful stay! The place was absolutely adorable – immaculately clean, cozy, and so comfortable. The beds were incredibly comfy, and the kitchen was well equipped, which made meal prep surprisingly fun! One of the biggest highlights was the fully fenced backyard – such a gift for my two four-legged family members to safely explore and enjoy. The host was amazing! So thoughtful, responsive, and kind. Truly a delightful stay. Highly recommend!

Kay’s home was a peaceful getaway on her lovely home. My husband and I stayed here while we moved to the area. There were delays surrounding our move & Kay was kind enough to let us extend our reservation. It took a lot of stress off the moving process by having a relaxing home to stay in.

I stayed here while in town for my brother's army graduation, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The place was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was convenient, and the neighborhood felt safe and quiet. The host was friendly and quick to respond, which made the whole trip stress-free. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area!

This is a perfect family house! Master with bath on one side (rain shower is amazing) 3 good size bedrooms on other side of house with bathroom. Lots of living room/kitchen space. Back porch is nice to eat on or just take a break. If you are having family day/graduation day with your family member it’s perfect for your stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Rich’s. It was very relaxing and a wonderfully serene setting. Rich was easy to talk to and was available anytime we reached out. I highly recommend staying here.

Don is a wonderful host. We truly enjoyed our visit to St. James and especially Don's gardens, deck, and very close proximity to the park! Fall colors were just coming into peak. Be sure to visit Maramec Springs right down the road! Very special.... Thank you for a very peaceful and relaxing stay.

Jean was a lovely host. Incredibly responsive from the moment we booked. She got us setup to float and Ryan was wonderful to get us checked in and on the river! Cobblestone is wonderful. We went during the late summer/fall off season. It was quiet and peaceful but the rec room was super fun with ping pong and other table games. Access to the river was also great, just a short hike. The whole property was cute and purposeful. Jean made amenities clear in the listing, so we came appropriately prepared. Also, there’s a nice screened in porch which we’re able to sit in while it rained. A great nature experience, we would absolutely return!

We had a party of seven. We stayed TH thru Sunday AM. House was perfect. Right accross the street from the Lodge. We had dinner and breakfast at the Lodge - strongly recommed! The house is clean and very comfortable.

We DEEPLY enjoyed the cabin. Easy to find and remarkably clean. Just like the pics inside. The cabin was well-stocked with spices/condiments, oil, butter, snacks, bottled water, oatmeal, cereal, canned soup, popcorn, and more. They had good coffee, Keurig cups, and nice creamers. They provided charcoal for the grill, lighter fluid, and grill utensils as well as wood for the large stone fire pit. There were plenty of blankets, towels, toiletries, TP, paper towels, Ziplock bags, foil, cling wrap, and more. Our family had a blast wading 1/4 mi up the creek and listening to it through open screened windows at night. The hosts were top-notch in every way. We hope to return! Some items that didn’t bother us, but others might want to note: A mouse got into a sealed Ziplock bag of cookies we had in the kitchen. The property was picturesque from several angles, but did have some random equipment and stuff like hoses lying around and some old appliances and mattresses off in the distance.

Beautiful and Private. The home is clean and as described. The interstate is nearby and can be heard from the front porch but not at all from the inside. The view of the stars was amazing and the property was well kept. Other reviews also mentioned the driveway and it is a somewhat steep gravel road with turns. It was a little bit of a challenge in an 2WD SUV pulling a light trailer, but doable. It really should be mentioned in the main listing, but other than that the description and home matched perfectly. I would definitely recommend and will be giving 5 starts.

We stayed here with two families, including six kids and two dogs. The house and log cabin were very comfortable, and we had more than enough space. We were just a short drive from the river, where we spent a day floating. It was a great getaway for the weekend!

This is my second time staying and my husband and I love it. It's a cute spot to relax in nature. It was noticably less clean this time around. Crumbs on the counter, blood stain on the sheets, dog pee scent on the couch. The manager mentioned that the cleaner quit earlier in the summer, so hopefully this is just temporary.

Everyone else has already nailed it: super comfy cabin in a stunning location with all the comforts of home. We just love to find places like this that are dog friendly, relaxing and truly away from it all. Since cooking is our favorite thing to do when we have downtime, this place definitely gets the gold medal for having everything you need in the kitchen, and so much more. From coffee to filters to every last pot/pan/skillet/basic seasoning that you could possibly need. Just bring yourselves and your main ingredients and they've got you covered! We really lived large at Turkey Ridge.

We had a great stay. We were in town for our daughters graduation. Lisa's home was very inviting and perfect for our family.

Very close and convenient to the Army base. Big enough for your soldier to relax with all family members!

Nicholas was a great host! He answered all my questions, responded very quickly and was nice to work with. Weekend trip to the St. James winery, which is just down the street. Older neighborhood but he really did a great job updating this home. Comfortable and has everything you need for a getaway. Great private fenced backyard, especially if you brought along your dogs. :)
