Two retired British couples, one new to Barbados and one more used to staying in hotels around the island. We had the most amazing holiday and stay in Jasmine Villa. It is in a wonderful location and is elegantly and luxuriously furnished. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and everything we ever needed was there on hand. We prepared three quarters of our meals in the well-equipped kitchen and the others we took in restaurants on the West and South Coast. Sugar Hill Club was great for the pool and the restaurant, which we appreciated especially on the night we arrived. We also made great use of the Beach Club at the Fairmont Hotel, included with the house. We took taxis to/from the airport and rented a small car, delivered to the property, to explore many of Barbados' attractions and for shopping in nearby Holetown.

We stayed at Tennyson’s rental for 8 days in December. Just outside of Holetown, it was a convenient location to walk to the beach, restaurants, super market, banks and some great amenities. The walk was about 15 mins to Holetown but the beach access was closer about 10 mins. It’s very close to the bus route so hopping on a bus to other parts of the island was very easy. The yellow reggae busses were convenient and the drivers helpful about getting us to our locations. There was also a lovely yoga studio very close and the spa at the Barbados Club was very nice. Tennyson’s apartment was clean and comfortable. With 2 beds and 2 baths and a large common area and kitchen, it was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped with the essentials. Towels were provided too which was a bonus! And it is true, there are monkeys! We saw a family of them and one was up on the patio steps. No complaints and would definitely stay here again!

We loved every moment of our stay at Bairds View Villa. It’s a perfect location on the west coast if you’re looking for a quieter stay, right between Speightstown and Holetown with a bus stop at the end of the road for easy travel. Thunder bay beach at the end of the road is beautiful and has great local food/drinks. We hired a car for half of our stay to help us get around the island and explore but if you’re just looking to go to Bridgetown or along the west coast a car is not a must have as the buses are frequent. Yunus was easy to contact prior to arrival and very responsive. John the villa manager was a wonderful host and so helpful, he had good recommendations prior to check in and offered to do grocery shopping for us at no extra cost which was a lovely gesture. We would recommend Bairds View to everyone and can’t wait to hopefully return one day in the future. Thanks so much for an amazing stay!

This was our first visit to Barbados and we loved the location and amenities at Clyde’s villa. The local property manager stocked the kitchen for us and set us up with a driver to pick us up from the airport. We ended up using this taxi service vs renting a car. The kitchen is well equipped. The washer and dryer were a plus. As was the grill and plunge pool. We accessed the beach thru the hotel (walked down through the car entrance) or by turning right on the highway and using the beach access road a block away. The road is busy so a few days we opted to go out through the back near the garbage drop off and walk down that street. A local told us sometimes the monkeys could be seen there. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. The tree frogs and crickets can be heard at night. It’s really something to hear. Please try the Lone Star restaurant- you can walk. This was a lovely place on a lovely island with lovely people. Five stars!

Loved my stay at Rosie’s place, exactly as described with a few special touches like the gym, and the use of washing machine. Communication was always prompt no matter the time of the day. Would highly recommend and look forward to one day coming again

We had a wonderful stay at Ruth's place! The property was beautiful- a brand new house with upgraded finishes and beautiful pool with a great outdoor living space. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed. Full laundry capability was helpful with young children. The AC kept the entire house cool when we needed it. This is important because Barbados is hot and humid even at nighttime. We appreciated the groceries that were provided on arrival, which is helpful after a flight when you are too tired to venture out to shop. Housekeeping was provided twice during the week and the pool was cleaned several times by staff when we were there. If we come back to Barbados, we would love to stay at Ruth's place again!

What an absolutely beautiful villa ! Honestly it is simply perfection and so tranquil. Everything as described and more besides. If you’re not a keen walker then you will definitely want a car to get to the beach , however we got up early and enjoyed the walk there. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if the villa had a membership of the club and thus the facilities such as the pool, gym,tennis courts, shuttle bus… that said , We will definitely go back . We had a fantastic time at the Sweet Spot villa. Between the easy access to the beach and private pool, there was plenty to keep everyone entertained. The community is beautiful and there was ample space for our family of 11. It was also a huge plus to have bathrooms in each bedroom when getting ready each day. Todne was very helpful in getting our questions answered. Unfortunately, internet is spotty (which caused delays in communicating in general). It would have been helpful to have had some instructions regarding the house earlier (re: how to get ‘hot’ water, work the door locks, registering etc.) but we figured it out eventually. Overall, we had a wonderful time.

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful villa. There is plenty of room for 6 people. It is just a 7 minute walk to the beach and a 25 minute walk into Speightstown. The pool is amazing and really well kept. The only thing that could make this villa even better is to add an en-suite shower room the massive bedroom.

What an absolutely fantastic villa!! We have just spent 12 nights at Simon’s villa and I cannot rate it highly enough. Simon from booking was extremely helpful and friendly answering any question I had promptly. When we stepped into the villa we were blown away, spotlessly clean, fully kitted out, beautiful furniture, fantastic pool and gorgeous views. Shani visited every day (apart from Mondays where Susan came) and tidied, washed and cleaned for us which was a fantastic addition. Shani was outstanding and is a great asset to anyone’s holiday going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed - especially helpful with 2 young children!This was a 5* experience and would love to return in the near future! Fantastic location in a private, quiet neighborhood. The back patio was wonderful - it had its own little pool, was steps to a larger one, and the clubhouse with another pool and restaurant were a 2 minute walk.

Perfection!! Elena was an amazing hostess; very responsive and accommodating, even with last minute booking. Gorgeous pool to ourselves each evening we were there. House is absolutely beautiful and met all our needs. Easy walk to pristine beach with calm, clear water and reefs offering great snorkelling. We would 100% recommend to anyone looking to book accommodation on the west coast. Thank you for a fantastic stay, Elena!!!

We had the best stay at Mariam’s. The house is beautiful - the photos really don’t do it justice. Mariam went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, and was so quick to communicate. The location was great - close to everything we needed whilst still feeling private and quiet. Sometimes by the pool we could hear the sounds of the neighbourhood, but we were never disturbed. We did enjoy the company of a very friendly cat, who would sometimes visit while we were by the pool. Amanda and Desmond were on hand and were brilliant. One evening the gas bottle of the BBQ ran out during cooking. However Mariam had this rectified by the time we even awoke the next morning. We’ll definitely be back - it’s a beautiful house. Thank you!

Sugar Cane Ridge 9 was everything we could have hoped for and much more. The property was spotless, beautifully comfortable and really felt like a home away from home! We were so happy and at ease there. Even though we were late arriving, our host welcomed us and made us feel so at home. The surrounding area is beautifully maintained, picturesque and so peaceful. We would suggest renting a car so you can get to the local beaches, shopping and restaurants more easily as the resort is set quite some way back from the coastal area. It is walkable but not for small children and there is no pavement. There is however, a shuttle bus that takes you to the main beach which is convenient if a rental car is not for you. We cannot recommend this property highly enough! It was wonderful and we hope to return soon.

Beautiful villa! Spent a few days here to celebrate my girlfriend’s 28th birthday and it was everything we could’ve imagined! The view is amazing, barbados is such a lovely place. Everyone is so kind and helpful. Thank you for helping me put together a personal chef for the birthday girl! The villa was so amazing we didn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to come back!

This was one of the few AirBnBs we’ve stayed in which looks even better in real life! The villa is really spacious and comfortable, kept beautifully clean by Marjorie each day. The hosts were great - really proactive and quick to respond. The location is fantastic, less than a minute’s walk from the beach! Would love to come back again in the future and would highly recommend staying here!

We arrived late at night due to a 4 hour flight delay but had no problem finding our accommodations and getting in. It's a great house. Each bedroom had it's own bathroom with shower so no waiting ever. The front porch and covering on the side of the house with seating and table was great. There's a nice selection of books and games available. The walk to the beach is literally 5 min or less, glad about that. Overall very quiet and it felt quite secure. Highly recommended.

My family and I had an amazing time at this house. Beautiful home in a beautiful area. First morning there were green monkeys in the back yard but they disappeared after that day. They were not aggressive and. it was cool for the kids to see them right in the back yard. Laundry facilities are great. Home is as described and so worth the money. Michael was always very responsive and even gave us a bit later check out since our flight was a bit delayed. Pool was fantastic and I would definitely stay there again. The bedrooms all have AC and ceiling fans downstairs but it was still very very hot during the days downstairs. One Ac unit in the tv room would help immensely. Other than that we all loved it. Mullins beach is a 10 minute drive away. Will definitely be back. Thanks Lee and Audrey and Michael for all your help.

Richard is a super host, he’s communication was exceptional. The space is to view for, a view of the beach and only 7 minutes drive to Sandy Lane and the shops of Holetown. Book this and treat yourself to peace and tranquility.

Highly Recommended. We had a tremendous family holiday at Giggles, a wonderful location and tremendously well equipped with everything we needed. Lots of local amenities such as great supermarket, fantastic restaurants, beaches, shops etc, also well placed to get the local buses or taxes if you want to get out and about more. We had a car but still enjoyed getting on the local buses now and again. The property is really well managed, great communication with Sarah and Jeanine (in charge of housekeeping) was always available for everything we needed. We found the arrival instructions really helpful and the guest book is full of invaluable tips and recommendations to help us get as much out of our trip as possible. Big shout out to the cleaners who do a great job ensuring that the house was perfect upon our arrival with everything organized and easy to find. We also thoroughly enjoyed visits from the local wildlife, including green monkeys and a variety of birds. Thank you Sarah

Utterly incredible place. Perfect walkable location to magnificent beaches, bars and restaurants. The villa was idyllic, quite outstanding and Will was too with his most helpful local knowledge info pack which arrived 2 weeks before our trip. This enabled us to book massages by the pool, stunning restaurants ( they do book up fast), snorkeling trips and someone to prepare a meal for us on our 2nd night. This pre sent info went a very long way in making our trip so varied and memorable. Home now, but will definitely return although I see Feb 25 is already booked up! Very many thanks Will

This was our third consecutive visit to Villa Mango and we wasn’t disappointed. The location is fantastic and the villa has all the amenities you could wish for. There were a couple of issues but Davelle is keen to take these on board. Villa Mango is one of our favourite destinations.

Excellent stay, great little villa with a nice patio and plunge pool. Host was excellent and all amenities were provided. About a 15 minute walk down the hill to one of the loveliest beaches in Barbados!
