The Nest is a perfect, seaside retreat situated within easy reach of excellent restaurants (the best Pizza place on the Island is beneath the apartment and you can get a discount!), all transport options (buses and cabs and plenty of beautiful walks), and there is a small Morrisons on the corner of the street if you want to cook yourself. Couldn't be better. Dave is a friendly host with a keen interest in making your stay as easy and comfortable as possible. He was very responsive to any small enquiry and basically couldn't do enough even though I was there over the Christmas period. When I arrived some lights were on and so was the heating, which was much appreciated as my journey from the midlands had been tortuous! The Nest is also a very interesting place, part of its owners ambition to start a restaurant and accommodation project on the Island where he grew up - the renovation of both the apartment and the pizzeria beneath is impressive.

The studio was exactly as described and in a fantastic location. Furnishings are stylish and comfortable and the bed extremely comfortable. Jane left comprehensive instructions/information and the parking card thingy was very much appreciated. Local restaurants are within a short walking distance. We sampled 4 and the food in all was delicious. As first time visitors to Jersey, we found Gorey to be a delightful place and would stay in Jane's studio again. Jane responded to our queries promptly and was very helpful.

This apartment has the wow factor. It was luxurious, well appointed and warm. The sea views were amazing and it was great to be able to access the wonderful beach from the balcony and listen to the waves in bed. My husband had told Susan we were celebrating an anniversary and she left wine and chocolates for us, which was a lovely touch. It was easy to walk into the centre, or you could catch a bus from the stop nearby. We highly recommend this beautiful property.

Nice apartment, right near the key areas in Jersey and the beach

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le logement d'Ashley. Ce logement est spacieux, très confortable et agréable. Ashley et son compagnon ont été d'une grande aide à notre arrivée un peu tardive. Le logement est situé au plus proche du centre ville de Saint Helier. Je le recommande sans hésitation.

Nous avons passé 5 jours dans cet appartement confortable et spacieux. Marissa est à l'écoute de nos besoins. Le lieu est très calme (voisins et rue) et agréable. Très bien équipé tant en terme d'ustensiles que de produits du quotidien (huile, sel, poivre, lait, gel douche, shampoing, etc...). Très proche du centre ville de St Hellier donc toutes les commodités à portée de main.

The apartment was lovely with a great view. Grace was very responsive and helpful.

The apartment was clean and spacious. The two bedrooms were very comfy and offered plenty of storage in the wardrobes. Craig was very responsive to any queries. He informed me the apartment is above a local pub which hosts social events and live music. We were happy to join the locals and enjoy the music. If you don't like noise, music and a loud atmosphere, I suggest you book elsewhere. The windows are not double-glazed; you will be able to hear people talking as they are waiting for a taxi or traffic driving past. There is no lift, so it won't be suitable for mobility-impaired individuals or small children and prams. Overall, the apartment is in a prime place, a short distance from the harbour, beautiful beaches, restaurants and local historic sites. We have enjoyed ourselves and were happy with the facilities.

We had a lovely stay in Jersey, we arrived early in the morning and we were able to check-in earlier than expected. We were greeted by Emma who showed us around and made us feel welcome. The place was very well equipped for our stay and the lovely touch of milk, butter and eggs was very welcomed! The location is perfect, we found the place very easily with the bus stop names provided for check-in. The bus stops directly outside and made it so easy for us to navigate the island by bus using the Avanchi card. We also loved St Brelades Bay, very nice large beach with plenty of places to eat and drink.

Julie est une hôte réactive et bienveillante. Séjour au calme dans une grande maison lumineuse en campagne. La maison était très propre et très spacieuse. Équipement bébé et jeux enfants qui étaient un atout supplémentaire pour notre famille. Merci Julie!

Unser Urlaub war sehr erholsam und sehr ruhig. Wir konnten uns in dieser Umgebung sehr gut entspannen. Unseren Hunden hat es auch sehr gut gefallen, denn es gab kein Silvesterfeuerwerk und kaum hörbare Knallerei weit entfernt. Das Haus ist sehr schön geräumig und gut ausgestattet auch der Garten/die Wiese war trotz der Jahreszeit sehr gepflegt. Und eine tolle Aussicht beim Frühstück hatten wir auch. Zudem ist Hélène eine sehr freundliche, hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die uns bei jeder Frage kompetent unterstützt hat. Vielen Dank für alles liebe Hélène, wir würden sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Une cosy maison pour un we entre amis. Maison charmante dans un environnement charmant. Tout pleins d’informations envoyées par Marc et son épouse. Bref, un très bon moment passé chez eux. Juste un petit bémol sur la literie de qualité moyenne. Je recommande malgré tout cette adresse 🙂

Stayed here whilst my son competed in a tennis tournament...the fact that the property had a tennis court was a bonus! The property was clean, tidy with all the amenities we needed. It was like home from home. The beds were very comfortable and each room had its own TV which was great. Would highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future.

Très bon séjour chez Sophie. Soleil radieux pour un mois d'avril. Emplacement idéal pour aller à pied à la plage. Terrain clos, très bien pour notre chien. Logement impeccable. Je recommande vivement cette location. Endroit où nous pourrions revenir sans problème. Famille Moquet.

Zeer rustige woning en prettig verblijf, alles aanwezig en werkt goed. Elektra is inbegrepen dus ook niet achteraf verrassingen. Dichtbij strand en ruim huis.

Excellent séjour chez John. Très bon accueil par la mère de John. Nous avons également été ravis de trouver des produits de première nécessité et quelques courses qui nous attendaient dans le frigo. Logement spacieux, très confortable, très bien équipé, conforme en tous points à la description. Localisation très pratique pour les cyclo- touristes. Je recommande vivement.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans un logement très propre et bien aménagé. Nous avons apprécié la place de parking privé et la proximité immédiate de la plage à pieds.

Très bonne semaine chez Michèle à Barneville. L'emplacement, le logement , la literie, la cuisine , rien à dire tout est parfait comme à la maison. On reviendra sans hésitation chez Michèle .

Logement très agréable, bien situé, à 3-4' à pied des commerces et 20' à pied de la plage. Excellente communication avec Claire pendant le séjour. Logement dans lequel les chiens sont acceptés (même si le mien n'est finalement pas venu) ce que j'apprécié énormément. La table de ping-pong a été un vrai plus pour les ados. La cuisine n'est pas assez équipée à mon goût (casseroles, théière, etc.), mais c'est facile à améliorer. Nous reviendrons sans doute

J’avais déjà été chez Pascal l’année dernière et l’emplacement est au top, près de la mer et du centre de Carteret. Grand logement agréable et sans vis à vis et très bonne communication avec Claire, je recommande

Un temps plus que maussade ne nous a malheureusement pas permis de profiter du magnifique jardin privé quasiment sur la plage. Le logement quant à lui est très fonctionnel, très bien équipé et idéal pour 2 couples avec ou sans enfant du fait de sa configuration sur 2 niveaux. Tout était par ailleurs très propre: literies très confortable, salles de bains et cuisine impeccables avec tout ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner presque comme à la maison. A tout cela s'ajoute un calme absolu jour et nuit, ce qui est particulièrement appréciable pour des vacances reposantes. Cerise sur le gâteau: la gentillesse et la confiance de Michèle qui fait tout pour qu'on se sente à l'aise chez elle. Sans oublier les petites gourmandises à l'arrivée. Vivement un prochain séjour avec le soleil et les grandes ballades sur la plage!
