Place is very spacious, beautiful scenery, the bathrooms were nice as they were clean and modern and had a nice natural pool. The host was also very friendly and helpful.

We have not found the accommodation immediately because maps did not find the address which is on the air bnb website. However, we called Maai and he came with his car to show as the way to the accommodation. The food (breakfast 1500 rupees pp. and dinner 1500 rupees pp.) were amazing and definitely worth the money. The served several courses for breakfast and for dinner. In our morning tour with our tuktuk we got stuck in the mountains. However we called Maai and he helped us to communicate with the locals. They showed us the waterfalls and helped us to get back with the tuktuk. We can really recommend this place

Wir haben wunderbare Tage bei Liz verbracht. Wir haben fein gegessen und sie hat unseren Kindern jeden Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen. Optimaler Standort für Tagesausflüge zum botanischen Garten oder zum Ambuluwawa Tower. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen!

Maison de style colonial datant de la fin du 19ème siècle, occupée par la famille d'Asala depuis plusieurs générations. Asala est très gentil nous avons pu échanger sur différents aspects du pays. Il nous a emmené le lendemain matin sans que je puisse le dédommager. Un vrai gentleman ! Istouti 😁

Charini’s place is lovely, she was very accommodating to our needs and there is a caretaker available 24/7. Views are spectacular and not too far from town. Living room is comfy but it is cold in this area at night so opt for the additional heaters!

Environnement incroyable. La vue époustouflante depuis la terrasse. Helper aux petits soins et sympathique.. plantations accessibles à pied depuis la maison en autonomie, baignade dans une rivière sauvage juste à côté pour les petits aventuriers… on a adoré !!

It need to walk a distance to reach the accommodation, but the scenic views along the roadside made it a pleasant journey. Room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen served very delicious meals, and the staff were friendly. The two dogs( Joda and Lashes) and a cat were absolutely adorable, the surrounding area was many with diverse wildlife and birds. Unfortunately, several days heavy rainstorm keep us from the tour of Sinharaja rainforest. However,it was a delightful experience in Karina’s house

Ravi’s family was very welcoming and caring. It was a nice stay. We chose his place because it was close to the Pinnawalla elephant orphanage. He arranged the pick up from the airport and to orphanage and to our next destination. All well taken care of. Thanks!

Le logement était magnifique, avec une vue incroyable face aux plantations de thé, reposant et apaisant. Nous avons adoré ! Il y avait du thé pour le petit déjeuner mais pensez à prévoir le reste. L’endroit est vraiment isolé au bout d’une route très endommagé, il manque un peu d’indications. Mais le cadre est vraiment magnifique.

Wat een uniek verblijf in deze prachtige omgeving! De cabinne is enkele kms van het centrum gelegen maar is goed bereikbaar. De gastheer is erg behulpzaam en voorziet een warm onthaal en goed ontbijt of andere maaltijden. Daarbij kan je via Julias een zeer interessante en betaalbare rondleiding krijgen door de omgeving. Zeker aan te raden!

We had a real good time there. The view from the balcony is spectacular and the host and his family were really kind. It’s not the most luxurious flat but I would book again. Especially if you take the train from Nanu oya to Ella it’s perfect because it’s in walking distance to the train and you can visit n. Eliya also really easily

Nestled in a peaceful location within a tea plantation. The surrounding area is stunning, and the 1.3km walk to the river and bridge provides a chance to soak in the beauty and get some exercise. A small charming village is also nearby, with friendly residents and a very small shop. The host is friendly, courteous, and always willing to go the extra mile, they made our stay truly enjoyable, especially for the food. The meals prepared at the villa were exceptional and provided a good introduction to Sri Lankan dishes. It's important to note that the villa has many stairs throughout. While this wasn't a major issue for us, it's something to consider if you have mobility limitations. Additionally, the access road is best suited for four-wheel drive or higher clearance vehicles. Overall Villa Glengariff is a fantastic choice for those seeking a peaceful getaway with stunning views and exceptional food.

Nice accommodation in a good area. The staff were very helpful with our luggage and helping us check in. They also prepared a takeaway breakfast for us as we were leaving early on day of check out. The beds were large and comfortable. There was a slight lack of communication via messaging as I didn’t recieve any replies but the accommodation was easy to find and staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival. Overall we were happy with this stay and would recommend people to use in the future.

The place was wonderful with the surrondings of Nature, and the place was comfortable with good furniture. Best part was the caretaker Mr. Gamini who provided us a great service by getting the groerries at a reasonable rate and cooking for us which was very well done. He made sure that we can stay carefree with all the meals being cooked on time. Recommended for groups to have a great time with walking around the property, using the pool and just relaxing.

Our host couple Indira and Lakshman are very attentive and helpful people whose hospitality comes from the heart. We stayed for six weeks in their beautiful house, which is situated in a lovely garden on a hill in Sirimalwatta. Our flat with kitchen and two bedrooms also has a terrace where we always had our meals as a family of four. We liked it so much that we will be staying here again temporarily on our next visit to Sri Lanka in the autumn. Lakshman also helped my husband a lot with one of his local projects and arranged an appointment for him with the local governor.

We’ve just left the treehouse chalet with the happiest of memories. The food was delicious (they fed our coeliac daughter incredibly well), the treehouse was gorgeous with views that are out of this world. The service and care was incredible. Aruns knowledge and passion for nature is amazing - he oozes love for what he is doing and passed it on to all of us. We swam in waterfalls, walked to the local village, saw the stars …. We were there for 4 nights - it went far too quickly. I highly recommend anyone who is interested in nature, calm surroundings to add this to their itinerary. You won’t regret it!

Eomal e sua moglie, incluso tutto lo staff, ci hanno trattati quasi come dei figli, sono stati dolcissimi e ci hanno trasmesso il loro amore per quello che fanno, dal trattamento del cliente alla passione del luogo in cui vivono, in una vallata stupenda nei pressi di Ohiya. Colazione e cena ottime, servizio impeccabile, ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Essendo stato il mio compleanno, mi ha organizzato insieme alla mia fidanzata una sorpresa inaspettata coinvolgendo gli altri ospiti, è stato davvero gradito. Escursioni stupende da fare in zona, dal Pekoe Trail agli Horton Plains, per gli amanti del trekking un vero paradiso. Grazie ancora davvero per lo splendido soggiorno ❤️🙏🏻

Great little resort. Lovely setting with a great pool and on-site restaurant that serves good food. Nice day spa and gem store on site as well. Would highly recommend this place.
