Fantastic home and some great help from Danuo and Praba who cooked some fantastic food and were always there to help and offer services and information . Praba was a great Caddy ! Overall a fantastic host, house helps and definitely recommend for families and friends coming to Victoria

We had a wonderful time at Clovefield villa. The caretaker, Wasanthi, and her husband treated us very well - Wasanthi is an amazing cook! The location is absolutely stunning, and sure to delight any nature lover. We will be back for sure. Magical!

Siluna est très accessible et très compréhensif. Silipa le gardien qui habite sur place est très gentil et discret. Un cuisinier peut venir directement cuisiner si nous le souhaitons. Superbe endroit !

Clarence's place is just wonderful! It is very spacious, airy, light, comfy and beautiful. All our family enjoyed staying at Clarence. He is a great host, always responding quick and making the best to please his guests. The other members of Clarence's family must be mentioned too. They all are very polite, friendly and hospitable. The balcony, which better be called a terrace, is huge and the view is stunning. Everything is great, highly recommended for families and people who prefer tranquility over a busy city. To call a taxi we used "pick me" app. It is very cheap and useful.

This is a 147 year old bungalow, and the stay was simply fantastic. We loved everything about the house and the host was fantastic to stay awake late in the night to welcome us after a tiring day for us. I would highly recommend this place to others.

Wow! This place is incredible, if you love golf you’ll be in heaven. I’ve never played at a more friendly club ever! The members are so welcoming and we made some awesome friends here that we will keep in touch with. Alan is a great host and did even more than required we feel really privileged to have met such wonderful people. His property is amazing, you won’t be disappointed, along with his care taker and house keeper we felt relaxed, safe and well looked after. Our 10 day stay here will be hard to beat, we can’t wait to come back!

Spacious apt with delicious breakfast owned by a kind, gentle couple. It worked well for our family of 5 since our kids could play around the house. Damayanthi and Walter picked us up at the train station and we paid for them to organize a great dinner. Only challenge for us was finding transport to the city for 5 people and dogs in the neighborhood barking early. We would definitely return since our kids adored Damayanthi.

Wir waren für eine Nacht in Kandy. Es hat uns super gefallen!! Die Gastgeberin ist super nett, sehr engagiert und spricht sehr gut Englisch - was in Sri Lanka nicht selbstverständlich ist. Die Lage ist sehr gut, da man in 5 Minuten in der Stadtmitte ist und trotzdem eine ruhige Nacht verbringen kann. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen !!

endroit très pratique pour séjourner à Nuwara Eliya en évitant le bruit du centre ville. accès rapide en ville même à pied. à environ 1h de route des Hortons Plains et proches des plantations de thé à voir dans la région. 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain : le top !

Поездка была семейная. Посмотрели фото, очень красивые пейзажи. Ожидания оправдались. Дом находится на высоте, очень красивый обзор, утром туман окутывает горы, просто супер! Хозяин всегда на связи и может решит все вопросы. В доме нас встретил управляющий, расположил, вызвал транспорт для поездки в город. В доме есть камин, вечером посидеть у камина приятное времяпровождение. Комнаты чистые, есть все необходимое, горячая вода. Утром нас накормили завтраком. В доме прекрасная оранжерея. Обеденный стол находится с прекрасным видом! Нам все понравилось. Мы рекомендуем, если будете в Нувара-Элии сделать остановку в этом доме.

I stayed at Riverside for 3 weeks and it was a great stay. The apartment is situated a few km out of Kandy in a small village, which is great as you get to experience real Sri Lankan life, I found the villagers very friendly, often stopping to chat to me. The bus to Kandy is just 10 mins walk away. The apartment is lovely, very spacious and with a wonderful large balcony perfect for eating and working. There's an outside plug so you can plug in your laptop. Hiran and family are lovely, Hiran is happy to help with any problems and the breakfast cooked by his wife is delicious and different most days. I'd definitely recommend this apartment and I'd stay again also being a solo woman traveller I felt safe at all times.

Our host couple Indira and Lakshman are very attentive and helpful people whose hospitality comes from the heart. We stayed for six weeks in their beautiful house, which is situated in a lovely garden on a hill in Sirimalwatta. Our flat with kitchen and two bedrooms also has a terrace where we always had our meals as a family of four. We liked it so much that we will be staying here again temporarily on our next visit to Sri Lanka in the autumn. Lakshman also helped my husband a lot with one of his local projects and arranged an appointment for him with the local governor.

This home is very unique the way it is built--sort of like a cylinder of 7 stories. It is an outstanding architectural design. Inside it is furnished so stylishly and COMFORTABLY!!! Mufi will answer any questions you have about Kandy and draw you maps of where you want to go. She will even number the places in the order you should go to them to make efficient use of your time. She has a "standard" tuk tuk driver she can call for you. His name is Sham and is very reliable. We would add for you to exercise a sense of humor when her husband visits with you.

We had a wonderful stay with Ru, Mike, their friendly team, and their beautiful dogs. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home with homemade ginger beer and the best coffee we’ve had in Sri Lanka. Our room was spacious and comfy with stunning valley views. The grounds are incredible—lush gardens, a large pool, and rolling hills. Ru gave us a lovely tour of the estate, introducing us to the animals and sharing her knowledge of the plants and spices used in their delicious meals. Her cooking was outstanding—like having a private chef! We also loved the cooking demo with her mum, followed by a Sri Lankan feast. Breakfasts were unforgettable, with fresh local twists and pastries worthy of Paris. Mike and Ru were generous, insightful hosts and helped us explore the area, including Lipton’s Seat, a tea factory, and Diyaluma Falls. Sudesh's place is a dream! Super quiet with sourrounding jackfruit and palm trees. His mother and wife were cooking amazing sri lankan lunch and dinner for only a few dollars extra. The including breakfast with different type of fruit and baverages was really good. Sudesh is also owener of a tuktuk pick up which is really helpful to get into town. This homestay is defenetly recommended and is one of the prettiest we stayed at.

We hebben een fijne tijd gehad bij Sandaru. Midden in het regenwoud omgeven door de geluiden uit de natuur. Sandaru en alle medewerkers zijn ontzettend vriendelijk, behulpzaam en respectvol. We voelde ons erg welkom. Het zwembad zorgt voor een heerlijke verkoeling na een wandeltocht door het regenwoud. Verwacht geen luxe in het regenwoud. Het is een pure beleving met alle basis behoeften. Er is een bed met klamboe, douche (lauw water), toilet, kastje en een stopcontact. In de avond zit je gezellig in het restaurant gedeelte. Vanuit hier spot je apen, grote eekhoorns en verschillende prachtige vogels. Het eten is het beste wat we tot nu toe hebben gehad in Sri Lanka, hele grote porties en ontzettend betaalbaar. Houdt er rekening mee dat er bloedzuigers, spinnen en kakkerlakken aanwezig kunnen zijn in/rondom het huisje.

Beautiful location, great food at the restaurant, they even organised a beautiful hike to a 360 lookout point. Staff were incredible - I’d highly recommend!

Wir waren für 3 Nächte in der Unterkunft von Jayantha und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Airbnb liegt oben auf einem Berg, weshalb man eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf Kandy hat. Und trotzdem ist man in 10-15 Minuten zu Fuß in der Stadt. Jayantha war super offen und hilfsbereit, man merkt, dass ihm das wohl der Gäste am Herzen liegt. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Amazing room, spectacular views and delicious breakfast. Hariharan and the staff are great. you will always find them smiling. the resort is heaven for couples.

The house is really nice, a two floors villa with garden. Accommodation is comfortable and in a good position to visit Kandy but far from the traffic. Joseph takes care of everything, he is super friendly and helpful (moreover he prepares a delicious local breakfast). The main room is big and located in the upper floor, while another room is available on the ground floor (this would need some small renovations), In the end, our stay was really pleasant and the place is totally recommended.
