The visitors center has tours and information about the Channel Island which are just off shore and visible from our beach. Next door to the center is the office of Island Packers, where you can catch a boat to one of the islands or go whale watching.

If you walk north on the beach to the next jetty you will be at the State Beach park. If you keep walking you will end up at the pier. It is so relaxing to sit on our neighborhood beach and watch the world go by and relax and enjoy the beach ambience. Our house has beach towels, chairs and umbrellas, boogie boards, sand toys for your use. We even have a nice selection of books to read.

The starting point is at 10 E Harbor Blvd.The trolley runs 11:00am - 11:00pm Wednesday thru Sunday. There is a stop that is a 5minute walk from the house. IT PICKS UP on the SW corner of Seaward and Pierpont Blvd. starting at 11:20, 12:20, 1:20, 2:45, 3:45, 5:00, 6:00, 7:00, 8:20, 9:20, 10:30. It takes you to the Harbor, Amtrak station, Mission / Museum, Pier and then back to Seaward. It is FREE! It makes one big loop from the beach to harbor, then downtown, then pier and back to Seaward. Our house is a 5 minute walk to the stop. Call 805 827-4444 if you have questions.
