The most incredible breakfast menu! Huge portions, best fruit cup (fresh!), all home-made. Also have a great bakery in the front.

Very nice Italian restaurant in Historic Temple. High-end but casual attire if you like. Wonderful menu, great bread basket with olive oil (they make their own olive oil for dipping - sell bottles there), and excellent wine list. Great for special nights or if you just want to sit down to a nice Italian meal.

Panera is a chain, but very good. Excellent bread bowl soup, great sandwiches and Panini, huge salads. Just across the street from S&W hospital - an easy walk.

You may only access this if you have a family member at the VA Hospital or if you work at the VA. Really nice lake with a gravel walking trail around it. Just a nice place to go if you need a break at the hospital.
