The Puerto Princesa Underground River has been voted one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, so understandably its one that most tourists check out whilst in town. It’s actually based in Sebang, a small beach town about 2-and-a-half hours from Puerto Princesa, but it’s easily accessible as a day trip.

The Puerto Princesa Underground River has been voted one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, so understandably its one that most tourists check out whilst in town. It’s actually based in Sebang, a small beach town about 2-and-a-half hours from Puerto Princesa, but it’s easily accessible as a day trip.

Port Barton: a sleepy coastal town which receives less of a tourist flow but is no less beautiful. In fact, fewer visitors keep Port Barton better preserved so in many ways it’s an even more idyllic place to unwind.

Nearest white sand beach within Puerto Princesa. Forty minutes by car. Entrance fee is minimal and hut fees are reasonable as well. Great spot for a quick getaway, popular with locals.
