The Olympic Game Farm in Sequim is a fun and up close animal experience. Drive through the park and buy at least 3 loaves of $2 bread at the entrance to feed to the animals along the way. Bison will try to reach in the car for that bread so keep moving!

This is a lovely, short, flat hike through the forest to an amazing beach. The beach is littered with sand dollars at low tide and the birds are abundant. From our house, the bluff is visible directly across Hood Canal. It's about a 40 minute drive to get there, but well worth it for a nice half-day excursion. Bring a picnic and enjoy the beach at low tide. The beach faces west so it's a great spot to grab afternoon sun too.
