Food Scene

Abraco simply makes the best coffee in town and has a real neighborhood feel to it. I recommend trying the olive oil cake!

C&B is probably the best place for a hearty breakfast, but also great for burger in the evening. All made with love, Ali (the owner) takes really good care of everyone.

Drinks & Nightlife

...i just never had a bad time here. It's always fun and simple to make friends when you sit at the bar. Intimate small place, great sake and good food as well.

...this is where I go running. Easy to get to - just walk east on 7th street until Ave D. You can cross FDR Dr. on either 6th street or 10th street. Both get you right to the East River. Lovely for walks and runs or to sit down with your coffee and enjoy the view onto Williamsburg bridge and Brooklyn. If you keep walking south you pass by all three bridges. It is worth the view.

Everything Else

The Russian & Turkish Bath is a classic. Little rough around the edges this sauna spot is less for a quiet relaxing wellness experience and more to meet some true East Village characters.
