Sightseeing
The area around Castel San Pietro offers a panoramic view of Verona’s historic city center. To get there you need to first go to the bridge ‘Ponte Pietra’ which is 10 minutes on foot from the apartment. From the bridge you can ascend to the castle either by a 5 minute walk up the stairs ‘Scalinate Castel S. Pietro’ through historic residential streets or by taking the Funicular (€2.50 round trip). Once at the top there are several viewing areas and 2 bars and 1 restaurant. We especially recommend to go up for the sunset as the view is facing South-West.
