Marathon Park

This is a fairly short walk, but a good uphill hike. There are spectacular views of Mt. Rainier, the Puget Sound and the State Capital from this park. It is well worth the walk!

Sightseeing
If you want a longer walk, this park connects via a trail from Tumwater Falls Park. If you follow the trail through the park it will take you to Capital Lake. Once you get to the sidewalk, you can walk to Marathon Park, into downtown Olympia or take a trail up to the State Capital. It is about a 5 mile walk into downtown Olympia.
