For children especially, there are areas to capture the magic of Christmas all year round with Santa's workshop on display as well as information about all the Reindeer who pull the sleigh. A magical must for children of all ages. Look out for our special adopted reindeer called Bond he is quite naughty we have heard. His antlers this year have been magnificent and he was in the running as a reserve to pull the sleigh last year. If you make a visit do come back and tell us how he is getting on.

You and the children are going to love this place. Our children went when they were young and we have so many of our guests saying what a fun day they had here. Its around an hour's drive from us but worth it as the whole day can be spent here having fun.

This beautiful area remains unspoilt by crowds. A short walk through the forest brings you to a safe and magnificent stretch of sandy beach . Home to seals, dolphins and the occasional basking shark the walk takes to you Hopeman and Burghead where you will be able to buy an ice cream before sauntering back in the peace and quiet of either the forest or beach. The butterfly population in the summer is amazing.

For those who love canoeing and white water this is an experience to remember. Please make sure that a trained guide is with you as this area can be treacherous to the inexperienced. We recommend that you look on line for information regarding the canoeing.

We recommend that you look on line for information regarding the canoeing.

Aberlour has everything you need for a wonderful holiday, local shops include the co-op and walkers shortbread shop. A pharmacy and library as well as hardware store and gift shop. A delicatessen and Chip Shop , a post office and Chinese takeaway and provision is made for all the necessities for a happy holiday. Alongside the pubs/restaurants Mash Tunn, Dowans Hotel and Aberlour Hotel, coffee shops including the Gatherin and Fresh, sell great coffee, lunches and scrummy cakes .
