Great place to hike and enjoy the views. This trail is rated as moderate. There are a few trails, trails around the base, and a trail to the summit. Great views from the summit. I don't recommend the summit trail for young children or strollers. There is a parking fee per vehicle. Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield is the sight of a Civil War Battle. The Visitor Center located at 900 Kennesaw Mountain Dr , Kennesaw, GA. is opened from 9 to 5 and holds relics and stories from the battle.
