El Charco del ingenio is San Miguel's botanical reserve. It is run by volunteers and it is kept beautifully pristine. It has a wonderful variety of endemic flora and the trails are a delight to explore. This is a short video of the park.
The Jardin is the main plaza in San Miguel.
The Parroquia is a beautiful church, there are three great cafes to sit down and observe people. There are always things going on in the Jardin.
