Delicious food and in the heart of town, my only complaint with this restaurant is that it is sometimes a long wait to get the food order. They are the only restaurant in the heart of town open for breakfast, so frequently very busy. The Bear House is also open for breakfast, but people don't see that restaurant since it is in "Top Town."
My recommendation is that you call and ask the wait time before driving over so you can decide if you prefer going elsewhere. I love their menu, especially for breakfast, so if you don't mind waiting, try it!

Crestline Cafe

Delicious Mexican Food in a homey atmosphere! Great prices too, if you have a ravenous group to feed after a long mountain adventure :)

Goodwins is a family owned grocery store that also has my favorite deli and sandwich shop, my favorite coffee bar/juice bar, an old fashioned soda fountain, hand-dipped chocolates, and home-goods!
The grocery prices are higher than a chain store, so locals like me who are very thrifty will drive to Stater Brother's in Lake Arrowhead Village for large food-shopping trips.

Lake Arrowhead Village

The local elementary school installed nature information sheets about wild life that live there. You can see beautiful birds and creatures (usually turtles) all year round, especially if there is a bit of sun.
This is also a fun place to take little one's for snow play the few times we get more than a foot of snow at this elevation.
Do not let your pets drink the water, as far as I know it is being treated and not safe for pets (or consuming the fish). We had a lot of work done on the lake in 2019, and I hope it gets done by summertime!!!
