Take a walk through the Old Point neighborhood

This is the historic neighborhood on the other side of Carteret Street, just 2 blocks away on foot from the cottage. It has a wonderful variety of architectural styles and many antebellum homes. Come in the neighborhood on Craven Street to see the many victorian homes and the famous "Castle" at the end of the street. Proceed on East Street and take a right on Federal street to see many beautiful homes on the river.
