This icon of the Hills District is a venue for shows, not just the horse and pony stuff, but serious theatre at the Harvey Pavilion and markets on some weekends. Worth a visit.

Sightseeing
Fred Caterson Reserve is huge (58 hectares). With many facilities like picnic areas, BMX bike tracks, basketball and tennexi courts, football fields, etc. But, what cannot be missed is the bush setting. Forest-like, with many bush tracks. One can meander at a slow pace or speed walk enjoying the many vistas inside the Reserve.
Fred Caterson Reserve is huge - 58 hectares! The place has a large multiple sports facility.There are six picnic tables, two barbecues (wood not supplied) and a junior children's playground.
Public toilets (including disabled access toilet) are open during daylight hours. There are several parking areas within the reserve (see aerial view link below).
The reserve features five soccer fields or three cricket fields, cricket practice nets, baseball field, ten tennis courts, a BMX track, remote control car track and a basketball stadium.
And there are many bush tracks all marked out, if you want to enjoy the clean air and bush setting, whilst walking
