This is around the corner from my flat - serves great coffee and brunch/lunch - plus is usually only frequented by locals - grab a coffee and go for a walk along the coastal walk or sit outside in the sun and enjoy all the local dogs who come to visit.

Great nightlife, good food menu (from Totti's next door) and a great wine list. They also have Fireball shots on tap! There is a DJ playing here every night which makes for fun local vive - only downside is it shuts at midnight... but this can also be a good thing!

If you walk all the way to Coogee it can take a couple of hours so most people turn around at Bronte or Clovelly - there are cafes and convenience stores all along the rote if you want to stop for coffee/brunch along the way.

Be careful with belongings on beach
If you choose to head down to the beach (which should be a daily occurrence) be careful abut taking valuables. I've never had anything stolen but ferns have so just be mindful that what you take to the beach might be picked up while you're in the water. Take turns swimming or just leave your valuables in the flat while you're enjoying beach time.
