Best BBQ in all of San Diego, that's why you need to check their Facebook page and get in line early before they sell out! The white beans and spicy slaw are the best sides, while the smoked turkey should not be missed! The NP location is currently under renovation, but you can drive out to their bigger, East County location in about 25 minutes outside of traffic times.

"NamaSteve" offers donation based yoga Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 11:30 and Tuesday/Thursday at 9:00am. Get there early on the weekends to get your spot. After yoga, walk down the boardwalk to Pacific Beach - there are tons of restaurants, shops, and great people watching! Even if yoga isn't your thing, it's a sight to behold and just a great beach area.

This is a refurbished navy complex/barracks that now has lots of parks, a food hall and is home to one of Stone's brewery/restaurants - it's a nice place to walk by the bay and hang out. There's also a few museums and they do a "Friday Night Liberty" event where the artists open up their studios. There's also a Trader Joe's in the complex.

Voted one of the hippest 'hoods several years running - this is my super-walkable home turf. I really love my location as it is super central to both North and South Park, as well as Balboa Park, Adams Avenue and downtown.
