You'd have to get here practically at dawn to beat the crowd, but mid-week around 8-10, you can usually find a spot in line with lots of goodies still available. My favorite is "One To GO" (a great deal at $2.95) is a baked egg and cheese casserole with mild green chilis served hot on our house-made cheddar cheese scone. But no shortage of scones, brownies, cakes ––all baked that morning. $

Nashville's bus system is continually being improved. But what makes it convenient for The Cottage's guests is that its neighborhood stop is at the corner of 16th and Fatherland St, across the street. This is the Number 4 line and it will take you into downtown Nashville.
Map and schedule for the Number 4 line will be sent along with other guest material one week before you arrive.
Local & Express Service is $1.70 and an all-day pass is a mere $3.25. Hop a ride, save some money, see things you might never see otherwise. It's a great way to travel.
