Wow this place is Amazing! Originally started in Asheville, this restaurant created a craze for amazing tacos and great atmosphere. Now, you don't have to drive to Asheville for this delicious food. Also great that they have a nice large lawn outside which is great for young children and families.

6 miles from downtown Greenville 🏔 If you want lake views and (mostly) flat ground, walk the Lake Placid Loop. 👟 1.2 mile loop | Easy | Starts at the picnic shelter 🐶 friendly? Yes. 🏔 If you want to see an old water tower and dam (and hike a pretty steep hill for about .25 miles), try Sulphur Springs Trail. 👟 3.5 mile loop (upper only) | Moderate | Starts near picnic shelter 6 🐶 friendly? Yes…if your dog is in good shape. It’s easy to get lost on this trail since it has an upper and lower section so download a map of the park to your phone before you go. 🏔 If you want to see any mountain views at all on Paris Mountain, hike Brissy Ridge Trail. 👟 2.4 mile loop | Moderate-Strenuous | Starts at the park map sign near the parking area 🐶 friendly? Yes…unless your dog is afraid of bicycles. There is a hiker’s only portion, which is much steeper than the rest of the trail, and there are lots of tree roots on the ground so watch your footing. Be on the lookout for mountain bikers on the other sections of the trail. (Remember, hikers yield to bikers on the downhill).

903 Wade Hampton Blvd. | ⏰ Closed Sun. + Mon. // 11:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Wed. + Thurs. // 11:30 a.m. – 9 p.m. Thurs. – Sat. What we ate: Veggie taco with rice, black beans, pico de gallo + guac. Why we loved it: Hearty enough to be filling (they pack so much into each taco that they double up on tortillas to hold it all), and their pico is *super* fresh and flavorful. Price: $5.50 (their chicken + carnitas tacos are the same price)

What we ate: Their rotating weekday sandwich special is offered between 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. (dine-in only), and the day we went the sandwich was buffalo chicken. Why we loved it: Bacon Bros. obviously knows how to do meat, and this was some of the tastiest chicken we’ve had + a full sandwich was definitely filling enough for lunch. Price: $5 (not counting the fried pickles we ordered… we couldn’t resist)
