There is always an excellent exhibition or two in both the galleries within the library as well as lots of events, a mini theatre and a coffee shop!

Jane Austen's House is about a 20 minute drive from us - but well worth the trip if you are even remotely interested in her work. Jane died in Winchester and is buried in the Cathedral - but the museum is where she did much of her writing and you can still really feel her there today.
