Beautiful old building and now housing the body of King Richard 111. So, if you're into a bit of history - pop over. Guided tours available on site.

This place serves lovely food, especially the crepes, which are unusual. A relaxed atmosphere. Can get a bit crowded and noisy as it is a small setting.

Hard to fit this pub into a narrow category because it is great for daytime food and drinks and evening stuff. They organise a lot of fun events too, especially in the summer, when the garden is in full swing with BBQ, music, chat, people walking off the canal and what not. Love this scene.

Parks & Nature

You can join these paths from almost anywhere around the city or Wigston / Blaby / Countesthorpe. Lots of walking or cycling tracks around. You can be steeped in nature within minutes of stepping foot inside this setting. We spend hours cycling and walking around here, especially when the weather is great. Take a back pack with some sandwiches or stop off at one of the canal side pubs.

Shopping

Free parking! High Street shops have a strong presence in Fosse Park. The food court is ok, not too much variety but has a good vibe.
