For a full day touristy and family type place to enjoy the Hot Springs... you can also go down to the river located behind the resort with a natural hotsprings area rocked off right along the river! Not a cheap place to go, but for a couples/family day, this is a nice place to go.

This is a GREAT family location for an Indoor Hot Springs/swimming pool that includes a toddler area. Very reasonably priced and a must do with our grandkids when we are in Salida!

This is a GREAT outdoor family spot for a swimming type hot springs... about 30 minutes south of our house. located in the middle of pretty much nothing, with the views of the mountains this is a good spot to take the kids swimming. Snack bar is extremely reasonable and you won't be disappointed.
