Bespoke
Unforgettable experiences designed especially for you and your guests.
This is where I moor my Powerboat which I make available for chartered bespoke experiences exclusively for my guests on an informal basis.
The Dorset coast is stunning and there is no better way to enjoy it than from the sea.
This is a unique opportunity to create your perfect day whether it be speeding along the Jurassic coastline or anchoring off the Studland coast for a picnic, swim and a paddle board to Harry’s Rock, to a sunset harbour trip finishing at Shell Bay restaurant.
Tide and weather dependent I will do my best to create some fantastic memories.
Please contact me directly 07743 102681 to create your itinerary and price or we can discuss it during your stay.

Lovely Walks with a pub stop
Dorset is an area of outstanding natural beauty with lovely scenic walks. Here are some of my favourites.
Studland has beautiful heathland and fantastic beaches. The Harry’s Rock circular walk is a lovely 3.5 miles and you can finish at the Bankes Arms with one of their range of ales in the scenic pub garden.
Go to:
national trust.org.uk
and search old Harry’s Rock walk.
If you want to leave the car behind take the number 50 open top Bus from Pinewood rd close to the house and make a day of it. If you go past Studland village store you have gone too far ( a short walk back to the sign for The Pig and Bankes Arms)

Worth Matravers has many good circular walks over a number of km and levels of difficulty, taking in places like Dancing Ledge (fossil hunting) and Kimmeridge Bay with fantastic views.
Try southwest coast path.org.uk or dorsetwalks.co.uk
The tiny square and compass pub is very popular with walkers. Opened in 1776 with connections with smugglers it is now known for pasties and a pint and a collection of local fossil finds!

If you fancy some exercise straight from the house the Promenade to Sandbanks won’t disappoint. Stop off at the Jazz Cafe before heading back or walk through the Sandbanks Hotel gate opposite through the car park to the beautiful views over Poole Harbour to Brownsea Island. Keep going left and you will reach Rick Steins.
From the house take the steps down to Branksome Chine Beach( left up Sandbourne rd) go through the car park to the beach huts and turn right towards Sandbanks. It a little over 2 miles to the Jazz.

Brilliant fun especially for kids
These are places I have enjoyed with my family over the years
This always comes top of my teenage kids wish list. Tip: Book at the beginning of the trip for a return discount (inevitable request!). Also don’t be tempted to book more than an hour - it’s exhausting!
Located near Corfe Castle a good tie-in (pre not post).

Well run stables with horses suited to all levels. Unique experience and views. Forest and heathland for a nice hack, beach rides and Old Harry’s Rock for experienced thrill seekers - the horses really go for it in the open space.

In Summer actors reenact battles and showcase life in different centuries. Horrible histories brought to life.
We have also watched Shakespeare plays here which is a magical experience at dusk ( but bring a blanket).

You will most likely pass this on your journey to/from Dorset off the M27. Excellent theme park that is worth integrating into the journey if you have children of primary age.
