Hidden gem off the beaten path in Aurora - don't be fooled by the strip mall exterior. Hands down the best Indian place I've found in Colorado. The service can be a bit slow as it's family run, but well worth the wait. The samosas and dosas are incredible. Always ask for the lowest spice setting to be safe ;-)

Best Thai food I've found in the entire state so far. Another hidden gem in a strip mall in Aurora. I'm a huge fan of the drunken noodles. The owner usually stops by to greet you. No alcohol served, but you can bring a bottle of wine to drink there. If you want Thai, this is the only place I can recommend.

Just a few miles east of the AirBnb, this is one of Denver's best parks. You'll find a 2.5 mile loop trail around the outside of the park, a lake with swans and paddleboats, and lots of fresh flowers depending on the time of year. Otherwise, you can ride bikes, play volleyball, or just relax and have a picnic under the large old trees. Free parking on any of the surrounding streets. Also check out all the fun homes around the park - some historic and some new.

Red Rocks Amphitheater is not to be missed. Don't miss the opportunity to see a show here during the summer. The acoustics are incredible and the natural stone surroundings are awe inspiring.
You can visit even when there is no event happening. There are even morning exercise classes on the many stairs or folks who just go to run the stairs to get into shape. There are also several great hiking trails near Red Rocks.
I recommend Mount Falcon East Trailhead as you get lots of trail options (and also mountain biking if you like) and you get a nice view of Red Rocks from a distance.

The Denver Art Museum is an intriguingly shaped building with consistently outstanding exhibits. Be careful as the interior can give you vertigo (not kidding). Nearby, you'll also find the Kirkland museum as well as several other museums.
I recommend parking in the Cultural Center Complex Garage - entrance is located on 12th between Broadway & Acoma.
You can also easily walk from the art museum to the Denver Library, the History Colorado Center, the Denver Capitol, Denver Courthouse, and the 16th Street Mall.
