Not far away and within walking distance is Sudeley Castle & Gardens- www.sudeleycastle.co.uk A beautiful majestic castle with acres of rolling countryside around it where you can take in the gorgeous vantages of Winchcombe. You can buy tickets to go inside and explore as well as the breath-taking gardens. In December Sudeley hosts 'The Festival of Light' Walking Trail which is not to be missed.

Just up the road is the Great Western Steam Railway- www.gwsr.com You can ride the railways between Broadway and Cheltenham all day long if you like, getting off and on and seeing the sights of all stops in-between. It's a bit of an explore away from the crowds .... one of my favorite areas 'what 3 words' startpoint, anywhere near shrub.players.playoffs' or in carpark behind The Mount Inn (WR12 7NE; w3w 'president.reduction.ratio' Great pub: The Mount Inn at Stanton (WR12 7NE). Sit on the terrace & just plan when you are going to buy a house here!

A short drive from Fifteen off the Green, Park your car and walk to Belas Knap (GL54 5AL, 2 miles), a Neolithic burial chamber thought to date back to about 3800 B.C. Quite a steep walk though ... sorry!!

Get started perhaps by parking on the Promenade (GL50 9SA) and walking past Imperial Gardens towards Montpellier, enjoying the architecture and outside café culture as you stroll. Cheltenham is also home to the to the Everyman theatre plus many fantastic restaurants and parks.
