They are assessed as one of the most important surviving medieval city walls in Britain. The Tudor Merchant House, a narrow town house was once lived in by a local merchant in Tenby. It is typical of the type of prosperous merchant’s house which sprang up when Tenby was a thriving port in the late Middle Ages.
