Food scene

A short walk and beautiful views of the Santa Cruz harbor and lighthouse. The more formal dining room is downstairs. Upstairs it's more casual for burgers, fish & chips, etc. with lots of patio seating.

Unique restaurant by the river. A funicular ride down the landscaped hillside to a hidden treasure. Sit on the deck by the river for a more casual meal, or in the historical dining room for a step up. The go-to restaurant for our family's special occasions.

Sightseeing

We take all of our visitors here - there is a flat easy 1 mile loop trail (will even work for strollers & wheelchairs) through the giant redwood trees. In nearby Felton - about a 15 minute drive (approximately 5 miles) away.

Yes, there's the Boardwalk, but a stroll on the wharf is nice too. The wharf is just beyond the Boardwalk and has shops, restaurants, fish market, ice cream parlor - even a tiki restaurant with a rotating bar. Towards the end of the wharf you can see and hear the seal lions lounging on the pylons.
