Probably a 6 out of 10 for vibe but this place is listed here because it gets a 10/10 for food. This is our go-to spot for lunch and where we take all our out of town friends. Amazing salads and sandwiches. It's a bakery so all the bread is fresh that day. FYI: closed on sundays.

Right in the heart of downtown Atascadero, a true American dining establishment. Food is great and they have an awesome cocktail selection.

Sightseeing

The Atascadero Lake Park is one of the best city parks in all of SLO county. The lake has a 1 mile path around it, there is a large grassy hill and playground, and the Atascadero Zoo is also located there. Our Zoo is the only accredited zoo between Santa Barbara and San Jose. The best part is, the park is only 3/4 of a mile from our house.
