Brantwood is the home of John Ruskin on the east side of Coniston Water. You can visit his home which is open to the public. There is also a cafe there and access to Coniston Water cruises from its pier. Car park has limited spaces, but there are other places to park along the east side road which runs on the edge of the Lake.
