One of the many wonders of Magnolia, Silos Baking Co. is worth the hype. I never knew a cupcake could taste so good. *Pro tip: get there when they first open from 7:30am-8am there is never a line in there. The lines start to back up even by 9am, the early bird gets the worm....or cupcake.

This iconic Baylor spot is everything you'd expect from a college pizzeria. It's grungy, it eclectic, it's cheap, and it's delicious. Grab a slice and experience a little nostalgia at Shorty's Pizza Shack, Kailey and Miller's go-to pizza place.

Activities

Lions and tigers and bears, oh my! This little zoo is a great way to spend the afternoon. It's just the right size! You can see all the wonderful animals you would expect to see at a zoo but you're not stuck there all day. We recommend you budget at least 3 hours to see everything.

I know, I know...A museum about Dr. Pepper? I was skeptical when I first went but WOW, this place is really cool. We loved learning about the fascinating history of soda. Also, every ticket comes with a Dr. Pepper included at the end of the tour. I guarantee that Dr. Pepper will never have tasted so good after a trip here.

"The Magnolia early bird gets the worm"

Everything Magnolia is packed everyday of the week and it gets busy quickly. The bakery opens at 7:30am and if you get there between 7:30-8 you won't be stuck waiting for 30-60 minutes for those tasty cupcakes. If it's a nice day it really pays off to get there bright and early.

Closed on Sundays

Magnolia and several other Waco attractions are closed on Sundays. This sometimes catches people off guard. If you're here on a Sunday there are still fun things to do you're just a bit more limited.
