On the edge of the Pennine Moors with country walks from the doorstep this modern annex is in a peaceful location at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Trawden. The village has a great pub, cafe and community-led store with locally sourced & eco-friendly produce. Bronte Country, Pendle Hill and the Yorkshire Dales are a short drive away Off road parking, peaceful garden with superb views A welcome pack of milk, bread, cereals, juice, tea, coffee provided & fresh eggs from our hens when they lay.
Accommodation is over two levels and access is via private door at rear of property accessed by walking down the side of the garage which is fairly narrow. Downstairs, your own private entrance opens into a bright and airy room consisting of a table and chairs, kitchen units with built-in fridge, sink, utensils and crockery. Microwave, toaster and kettle but please note, no oven or hob. Upstairs there is a double bedroom with modern en-suite comprising shower, vanity sink unit and toilet. We can provide a single air mattress & bedding for a 3rd person if required. This does then limit the space and therefore we advise this 3rd bed is only suitable for a child. Outside you are welcome to use the garden but please do not go through the other gate which is where our hens roam free.
Easy access for walkers/cyclists (bike store available) to the Pennine Bridleway, the historic hamlet of Wycoller, Pendle & Boulsworth hills. The village of Howarth and it's Bronte heritage is about 10 miles away. Easy access onto the M65 with Manchester, Leeds and Blackpool all approx 1hr away. The local pub serving excellent food at reasonable prices just a few minutes walk away and also serves cooked breakfasts at weekends. Other local gastro-pubs are within 5-10 minutes drive. There is a Cafe in the village serving lunches and snacks. The village has a community-led store providing fresh, locally sourced and eco-friendly produce.

Our little cottage is nestled away and is quaint & stylishly decorated with a wood burner making it toasty and inviting after a long walk in the hidden beautiful romantic hamlet of Wycoller. With the Yorkshire Moors right on the doorstep, ancient bridges and a ruin, plus a tearooms just around the corner offering homemade food & scrumptious cakes. Central base for Skipton, The Coast, The Lakes, The Dales, Ribble Valley and much more. Stunning in all Seasons. Be warned .. you won't want to leave.
The log burner will greet you with that toasty welcome after a long walk out in the countryside on a brisk Autumn or Winters day. Or be it Spring or Summer, the outside of the cottage is a sun trap where you can sit and relax and have a lovely lunch enjoying the garden and the company of the birds.The cottage has a double bed in the bedroom with a shower en suite, and a comfy sofa bed in the sitting room, suitable for 1 adult/child. During these current trying times regarding the Covid-19 crisis I would like to reassure you that the cottage is disinfected thoroughly throughout the cottage including door handles. The linen and towels have been washed on the highest wash. The cottage is a great place for a staycation as a work from home alternative. Stay safe!
Wycoller is an idyllic, hidden gem.. romantic and steeped in history and has a connection to Charlotte Brontes novel Jane Eyre. A quaint hamlet where time has forgotten. The surrounding Yorkshire Moors are abundant and right on the door step. Perfect for a hiking holiday. Tidy nicely decorated and furnished,,simple and neat,beautiful ,famous countryside 15 minute drive,0.5 mile from the famous Leeds to Liverpool canal with its amazing views ,,40 minutes drive from Lake district and Peak district,.This house is so conveniently located with a co op convenience store less than 1 minute walk which is open 7 days a week 7am til 10pm.There is an Indian takeaway open 7 days a week less than 50 yards away,library and 24 hr fuel station nearby.Walkers galore,.
Brierfield is an old historic village located next to Burnley,lots of Indian food restaurants ,friendly locals,good public transport to take you around or use the car.There is a railway station 0.5 mile away.Pendle hill is a must for an amazing walks and history .
Italian and Indian restaurants less than 200yards,very reasonably priced.Pendle hill and it's history is a must for walkers.

Within 10 minutes walk into Trawden Village, you will find The Trawden Arms country pub, our Community run Village Shop, The Rock Cafe and Gift Shop and Retro Shop. Waking up each day to the resident, tame sheep, whom usually await their Breakfast treats and on occasions a lovely horse may appear when around for summer grazing. From the moment you walk into this beautiful holiday home you will be impressed by many things, not least the owner's attention to detail, the wonderful styling and the quirky design of this first-class and award winning accommodation If walking is your thing, we are positioned directly on a footpath and within walking distance to the picturesque Wycoller Country Park, close by is the Pennine Way and the famous Brontë Way, Coldwell Packhorse Route and Mary Towneley Loop, canal walks, woodland walks. Boulsworth Hill and Pendle Hill are challenging but worth the effort for the views. We are spoilt for choice. Just a 15 minute drive away is Skipton Market Town and delightful Castle with its cobbled streets, canal boats rides and nearby Bolton Abbey Country Estate making this cottage a truly great place to be whatever the time of year. Haworth 'Bronte Country' with quirky cobbled street and shops, working steam railway and the place where The Railway Children were filmed. Formerly home to the Bronte Sisters, traditional pubs, restaurants and cafes, and a variety of walks, allowing visitors to follow in the footsteps of Catherine and Heathcliff and wander the fantastic rugged moorland. Loads to do and see , wonderful places and days out to recommend - details are provided on arrival. Arrivals from 4pm, Vacating by 10am. Fuel for fire and chimenea provided on an honesty box basis. Guests enter from the private parking area past the pretty little garden area and through an entrance porch into the upper ground floor which has been split into three spaces and combines many of the original ceiling beams with new and contemporary fixtures and fittings. The first bedroom contains a Twin beds which can be zip n linked to Super-king size bed size on request, with en-suite shower room and the second main bedroom a king-size bed, freestanding bath, separate WC and a wonderful Juliet balcony with lovely views out across the paddock and across to the moorland. The third space on the upper ground floor has been dedicated to a snug area with a multi-games table incorporating air hockey, table football and pool, multiple board games, jigsaws and other, wi-console. The upper floor is partly open to the lower ground floor and guests descend a bespoke staircase with homemade balustrade to the lower ground floor living area, containing the kitchen, sitting and dining area and a separate downstairs basin and WC. The cosy wood burner, set into a beautiful stone chimney, is a real feature with the main chimney going up through the centre of the building, an interesting feature and one of many in this beautiful holiday home. Light the fire, take a comfortable seat and take in the lovely exposed stonework, the original A-frame ceiling beams and the wrought iron features, including a most interesting horseshoe effect on the main wall. Two sets of double patio doors provide a bright and cheery feel to the room and lead out onto a spacious patio area with barbecue and a chimenea, once again, a great place to be to take in the 270 degree views. Guests can dine on the Rattan patio set under the parasol or relax on the sumptuous corner rattan lounge furniture within gazebo - under the twinkle lit glass roof, in total privacy whilst enjoying the mood lighting, a drink and taking in the far distance views of the dramatic moorlands. A stairway from the patio takes guests back to the upper car parking area. Guest access The Croft is signposted from Colne Road, pointing up the uneven farm track that leads to The Croft. This track is not suitable for modified sports vehicles with extra low skirts. Enter into a gravelled Floodlit yard directly positioned outside the porch entrance, with enough parking space for up to 2 cars. The Croft is a split level property, built into a banking. UPPER GROUND LEVEL:- Porch: On opening the porch door there is one step up (24cm high) and door width (73cm wide) The Oil fed Boiler is positioned in the porch, coats hooks, visitor book and shelving for shoes. On your right in one more small step (17cm high) and door (73cm wide) which opens onto landing area. Lighting inside and outside of porch. Fire extinguisher assembled next to porch door. Landing: From the landing there are 2 bedroom doors on your left, a long wide step (18cm high) which steps up in to games area. At the end of the landing there are 10 steps which wind down into kitchen. 2 Wall lights mounted. Games Room: This is open plan with no dividing wall from landing area. Consists of Multi games table (pool, air hockey and football), Wi console, board games, dominoes, library etc. Seating and nest of tables. This games room has a wrought iron balustrade which overlooks the kitchen beneath. 2 wall lights mounted and a hidden strip light that highlights the recessed shelving area. Twin bedroom (or Super King on request) bedroom: This is the first bedroom on your left from entering into landing from upper floor, door width (73cm wide). Consists of Two x 3ft single beds that can zip and link into one super king size bed, double wardrobe, set of drawers and two bedside cabinets. 2 bedside lamps, 1 night light, 1 centre ceiling light. Hairdryer and linen and luxury fresh towels provided. Travel cot available upon request. En-suite shower/wet room with w/c to enter there is a small step (17cm deep) and door (60cm wide) - no hand rails provided. Sunk in down lighters and illuminated mirror. Opening out Window/ Fire Exit. Master bedroom: This is the second door on your left from landing area on upper floor, door width (71cm). Consists of: King size bed, double wardrobe, set of drawers and two bedside cabinets. Open Roll top freestanding bath within bedroom, 2 bedside lamps, 1 centre ceiling light and mood lights sunk into a re-cessed shelf behind bath (no hand rails provided). A separate toilet and sink area step down (17cm deep) and (door width 56cm) with sunk in spot lights. French doors/Fire Exit opening out onto balcony - overlooking far reaching views. Hairdryer and linen and fresh towels provided. Iron and ironing board inside wardrobe. Staircase: The staircase consists of 10 steps in total which wind down, 4 straight steps, then 4 cornering steps & 2 straight steps. These are 20cm deep x 25cm wide. Baby Gates are available on request. LOWER GROUND LEVEL:- Kitchen: Open plan with elevated ceiling. Contemporary fully equipped kitchen with all modern accessories, Microwave, 4 slice toaster, Kettle, Vegetable 3 tier steamer, slow cooker, conventional fan assisted electric oven, electric domino hob with overhead extractor fan and down lighting. Fridge with 2 shelves and small freezer compartment. Ceiling lights with dimmer switch, floor lights around the skirting of kitchen units, strip lighting above sink, touch lamp on kitchen work top. Dining: Open plan, Dining table that can be folded square to seat 4 or opened out to provide more space. Provides 4 high back fabric comfortable dining chairs. Highchair available on request. Ample lighting all round. Living Room: Open plan, furnished to a very high standard offering a very cosy country yet modern feel. Wood burning stove, fire gloves provided, with ample supply of logs and beautiful views through to french patio doors. Fire guard provided. (Fuel for fire and chimnea is provided on an honesty box basis). Owner cleans and replenishes the fire requirements. Tall reading lamp and lamp on tv music cabinet. 2 wall lights with dimmer switch. Four Seater Sofa, and single arm chair. Patio: Leading from 2 sets of french doors from main kitchen and living area, step down into patio area (5” deep steps ). A lovely stone paved sun trap surrounded by dry stone walling, which consists rattan lounge furniture and glass top coffee table, Rattan Dining set with parasol, snuggle blankets provided. Barbecue and tools are provided along with chimnea for those nippy evenings. Wood is provided on an honesty box basis. Grassy garden area to side with Love rocker/swing. Stone stairs: These lead from Patio on Lower ground level up to Car Park/Porch on Upper ground level. Garden gate at the top of the stairs (73cm wide) to provide extra privacy. These stairs have a sensor light which illuminates the whole stair case on an evening when in use. The Owner is present and available 24/7 in Prospect Barn within 6 strides of walk from The Croft, Please ring the doorbell or tel: 07985 118176 for assistance. The Local Pub ‘The Trawden Arms’, ‘The Rock Café and Gift Shop’, ‘Trawden library’ and ‘Trawden Community run shop’ are all within 10 minutes walk (down hill all the way, and fairly steep on the way back up). The nearest Bus Stop is positioned outside the Trawden Arms and run every half hour. Police Station, Bus Terminus, Taxi Rank, Chemists and Banks/Cash Point Machines 10 minute drive. to Colne Town Centre - approximately ¾ of a mile away, the route is very steep and hilly. The Petrol Station is approximately 1.5mile away. Although every effort has been made to make this property as accessible as possible, due to the layout and position of the property is may not be suited to any person with mobility difficulties ie. Wheelchairs or mobility motors. This property is not fitted with any handrails, specialist mobility equipment.
    Trawden is a stunning village, boasting amazing countryside. The community run our local shop, hold annual events such as Trawden in Bloom competition, Garden & Scarecrow Fesitval, Agricultural Show, Beer & Music Festivals, Arts and Craft Fairs and so many more. The lovely Trawden Arms Pub is in the heart of the village which offer great food and woodburning fires and a very warm welcome. We are within walking distance of Wycoller Country Park, riverside & woodland walks and tea room. 10 Minutes drive to our town of Colne, you will find an array of eating and drinking places, live entertainment most nights - details are provided on arrival. Here at The Croft is a calm tranquil, stress free zone, very good for your soul.

    A lovely room in an old terrace property, the bedroom is modern, spacious and well equipped with internet access. Within walking distance of the charming town center of Colne which is situated at the end of the M65 motorway on the Lancashire/Yorkshire border.
    Colne is a handsome former mill town, with sturdy stone houses and lush countryside at the end of most streets. It is famous for its Great Rhythm and Blues Festival and local music scene. Black Lane Ends and the Emmott Arms are both lovely local pubs; About Coffee or Teas to Please for lunch.

    There are a few local highlights. First and second are the local park and a lovely county pub(The shooters). The park is 2mins a walk away and the pub only10mins walk or a 3min drive. There arelovely walk around Pendle from here or one canhead out to the pennies and access Bronté country and wycoller park if a stout walk is your thing.

    A newly built dwelling in the grounds of our c18th century farmhouse with stunning views across the Pennine hills. We are situated just above the village of Cowling in North Yorkshire, a peaceful setting complimented in the Lodge by having no TV (there is WiFi if you want to bring your own tablet or laptop for your fix). Underfloor heating with the addition of a log burner will keep you warm while the wind blows across the hills outside.
    The Lodge has a double bedroom with a king size bed, bathroom and open plan living area. Upon your arrival there will be tea, coffee and milk to welcome you. The bedroom overlooks the fields towards Cowling Pinnacle and Lund's Tower in one direction, and over our vegetable patch and chicken run (which you are welcome to go and feed the chickens) in the other. The open plan living area has a kitchen with hob, oven, extractor, dishwasher, sink, plenty of storage and all the usual kitchen equipment (if there is anything missing, just let us know). There is also a dining table with four chairs and a sofa/chair in front of the wood burner (which will be equipped with logs for one night, further logs are available for purchase). There is no TV to make this a peaceful stay with the chance to unwind and relax. You are welcome to wander through our field which joins on to some of the many public footpaths in the area. If you do need to work or connect to the outside world, there is secure WiFi in the Lodge. The shower room has a twin headed shower, basin and toilet in. The Lodge has underfloor heating throughout, the heating and hot water are provided by an air source heat pump powered by the solar panels on the roof.
    Cowling has a village shop, pub and restaurant, with many other pubs and restaurants serving good food being within an easy drive.

Ideal stopover for cyclists on the Leeds to Liverpool canal. For shoppers, Boundary Mill shopping outlet is round the corner.

    AT THE MOMENT ONLY A DOUBLE ROOM WITH 1.5 BED IS AVAILABLE Fantastic views of the lancashire hills ..all guests welcome too use all facilities ... washer dryer etc and more than welcome to sit in the living room or garden as a family member... the garden is undergoing major refurbishment at the moment .. probably won't be complete until may 2020 so do need to apologise ...its not a problem but it does look a building site in progress so to speak ...

    We have a lovely home in a semi-rural position close to both the Trough of Bowland, Yorkshire Dales and the lovely Lancashire countryside. Our home would be perfect for a professional lady or gent requiring accomodation whilst spending time on business in the area or simply for someone looking to explore. The bedroom consists of a small double bed,t.v., ensuite shower room, wi-fi etc. Office space is available in the home if required and we are happy to share our kitchen/diner for breakfast.
    Martin, my husband and myself are looking forward to welcoming guests to our home as now the children are grown and not around as much we have space to fill. We have decorated and furnished to a high standard and are sure you will have a comfortable stay.
    Several good pubs and restaurants within 10 minutes of the property. Although we are surrounded by lovely countryside we have a good number of large employers in the area namely Rolls Royce, Weston’s, Country Holidays and Silentnight to name but a few.

    The apartment is situated on the top floor of an old terrace house. The living area, kitchen and bathroom are located on this floor. The kitchen is very well equipped with double oven, microwave and induction hob, there is also a washer/dryer and dish washer. A loft conversion accommodating a very large master bedroom with good views over the roof tops to the local country side. There is a smart TV in the bedroom.
    Opposite the front of the apartment is the rear of the local Police Station with the Medical Center off to the right and the Fire Station to the left. The Main Bus Station is opposite the front of the Police Station, and the town center is just behind that. There are neighbours to the left, right and below, I would ask that you give them consideration whilst in the apartment.

Mi prometido y yo estábamos enamorados de la casa desde el momento en que la vimos en la aplicación y no nos decepcionó. Líneas y toallas limpias, té con leche fresca y café disponible. Frank también envió por correo electrónico una descripción tan detallada de la casa y el área circundante, que fue muy agradable y atenta. El estacionamiento fue muy fácil y tener el pase disponible hizo que fuera fácil para aparcar en la calle. Un montón de cubiertos más de lo que necesitábamos. La habitación encantadora donde pudimos ver las estrellas desde la ventana de la azotea era realmente encantadora y romántica.   • Nos alojamos en Franks durante 9 días y nos hubiera gustado quedarnos mucho más tiempo, el apartamento es acogedor y cálido, y hay todas las instalaciones y utensilios, perfecto para una estancia prolongada. El estacionamiento también es muy fácil y está cerca del apartamento. Colne es una encantadora pequeña ciudad del norte, tradicional y acogedora, rodeada de hermosos paisajes que se extienden hasta los valles de Yorkshire, conocemos muy bien la zona y este es el mejor alojamiento en el que nos hemos alojado. Estamos muy contentos de recomendar el apartamento de Franks y definitivamente volviendo cuando visitamos la zona de nuevo.

    Our cottage is nestled away off the main road within the small village of Cowling. Recently renovated from an old mill barn into a stylishly decorated cottage with the Yorkshire Moors right on the doorstep. A local village pub & restaurant are just a few minutes walk around the corner offering the best local ales & delicious food. Centrally located for Skipton, Pennine way, Lake District, The Dales, Ribble Valley & much more. Stunning in all Seasons- you won't be disappointed or want to leave.
    The log burner will greet you with that toasty welcome after a long walk out in the countryside on a brisk Autumn or Winters day. Or be it Spring or Summer, the outside of the cottage is a sun trap where you can sit on the patio opposite the cottage and relax, have a lovely lunch enjoying the views over the field and the pinnacle. The cottage has a king size bed in bedroom 1 with a shower en suite, and bedroom two has two singles with the house bathroom, featuring free-standing Victorian style bath across the landing. The cottage has low beams & ceilings on the first floor- which adds character but we urge our guests to be mindful of this and have a few signs here and there as reminders. The living room is also situated on the first floor along with the bedrooms- where you will find fantastic views looking up to the pinnacle & a log burning stove to relax in front of. Downstairs is the open plan kitchen/diner along with a "snug area" for chilling out with drinks, playing games or watching tv. There is a secure garage within the cottage which can accommodate cycles, motorcycles or small trailer. Within this space, there is a utility & downstairs toilet- a washing machine & drying area is also available to use.
    The Saltpot Cottage is located in the lovely village of Cowling, North Yorkshire. As the cottage is in the countryside, there are numerous walks close by, including the Pennine way and Yorkshire dales. Skipton is the closest market town, which is steeped in history and has its own castle! Leeds is the nearest city, which can be reached by train from Steeton (5 miles away) and only takes 25 minutes on the train. Bolton abbey is another interesting place to visit, nestled on the River Wharfe. A "jewel in the crown" of Yorkshire set in 30,000 acres of countryside & owned by the Devonshire family since 1755- has inspired many an artist, such as Wordsworth, Turner, Ruskin & Royle. The Priory ruins are a must-see whilst at Bolton Abbey- full of history and legends- the perfect family day out. The village of Haworth is also within easy reach by car, famous for its association with the Bronte sisters, who wrote most of their popular works from the Bronte Parsonage. There is also a steam locomotive in action on the KWVR railway in Haworth- great for kids & adults! There are many more attractions and interesting things to do & see during your stay at the Saltpot Cottage, we are more than happy to help you discover these if required.

    The Hideaway is a very unique little cabin which is a bit back to basics with a few treats thrown in. You have your own private fenced off area containing a BBQ/firepit. Inside you will find a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a toaster, a wonderful log burning stove and even a complimentary bottle of Prosecco to welcome you. ONE well behaved SMALL dog can stay, too, sorry, its not big enough to host a large dog as its a small area (certain rules apply,please message us to discuss).
    Situated in the beautiful village of Lothersdale, Lakeside Hideaway is a glamping cabin at Raygill Lakes. A wonderful escape from reality, perfect for a couple's mini break or maybe a writer's or artist's retreat, its very peaceful. There is a cafe/ Bar on site if you dont fancy cooking for yourself (weekends only unless by prior arrangement). it’s all you need to relax and unwind in the countryside. We are dog friendly. 1 well behaved SMALL pooch welcome (it isnt big enough for a large dog). There's even a bed for your dog unless you want to bring their own. You’ll get a complimentary bottle of fizz and nibbles on arrival. The toilets are a 50 metre walk away from The Hideaway at the cafe/bar. We are yet to install a shower block in the next couple of months but toilets and washing facilities are here. As it’s a glamping cabin we provide means to cook with, a log burning fire with stove top and mini oven and an outdoor bbq/firepit, we also have a kettle and toaster in the cabin along with utensils, cutlery, glassware and mugs. We recommend bringing your own wash towels and toiletries and, as there is no running water in the Hideaway we will supply you with bottled water for drinking for your stay and there is a washing up sink at the lodge. You have a key for the toilet/wash facilities which you can access any time during your stay. Bring your fishing tackle and have a go whilst you're here. There's a fishing peg included at the Hideaway (rules apply). Lothersdale/Raygill has no mobile phone signal but WiFi is now available at The Hideaway (fingers crossed). It is a truly unique accommodation that we are sure you will love.
    Raygill is a very important area of geological interest. It is an old limestone quarry that has been tended to and cared for by its owners for the last 30 years and now it is an area of natural beauty and the wildlife is abundant. The Lakeside Cafe & Bar are in the Fishery Lodge just a short walk away from you if you want food and drink (open weekends only unless arrangements are made by yourselves and the owner) but if you fancy a stroll into the village 1 mile away you will find The Hare and Hounds pub. They serve good ales and food all day, every day.

    With country walks right on the doorstep, our modern town house is situated a small cul-de-sac on the outskirts of the desirable village of Laneshawbridge. Located on the edge of the Pennine Moors, you are within walking distance of the historic hamlet of Wycoller Country Park and a short drive from the famous Bronte village of Howarth, Pendle Hill and the Yorkshire Dales. If walking is not your thing why not visit the market town of Skipton or Boundary Mill Outlet is 10 minutes drive in Colne.
    The accommodation is over 2 floors, a hallway with a useful ground floor washroom, a pleasant lounge with a fireplace and living flame gas fire, a dining kitchen with a built-in oven and hob, fridge freezer, washer, microwave, coffee machine and a dining table and 4 chairs. There are 2 double bedrooms, the master with a king size bed and walk-in wardrobe and the other with a double bed and wardrobe, and a modern bathroom, with a white suite and shower over the bath. At the rear is a small patio with a clothes airer to hang out your washing and there are two off road parking spaces directly at the front. The house also benefits from lovely rural views from the rear. A welcome pack of Milk, Bread, Butter, Tea and Coffee will be ready on arrival and fresh free range eggs can be purchased from the farm directly across from the house. There is a Sainsburys supermarket just 5/10 minutes drive in the neighbouring town of Colne, along with Asda and plenty of independent shops and cafes. The Emmot Arms is a country traditional pub, with open fires, just a short walk from the house. There is also another well renowned pub/restaurant, The Alma Inn, serving excellent food, 10/15 minutes stroll.
    If you like nightlife, there are lots of pubs and eateries in the neighbouring town of Colne, taxis are readily available. If you enjoy Blues music, Colne is the place for holding the famous Rhythm and Blues Festival each year at the August Bank Holiday weekend, a fantastic atmosphere with lots of well known bands playing around the local pubs. We also have The Municipal Hall where events take place on a regular basis and The Hypodrome Theatre if you enjoy a small production. If you have Children, there is a small park in the village and Ball Grove Park is about 15 minutes walk, where there is a lake where you can feed the ducks, a park, a picnic area and a cafe. There is also a roller skating rink in Colne called Earnies, a great family day out with other family places in the area too.
