  • La estancia no podría haber ido mejor. Nuestras necesidades probablemente eran diferentes a lo que Ritchie y Nicki normalmente están acostumbrados, pero cubrieron todas nuestras necesidades y ese extra que apreciamos mucho. Nicki siempre estaba allí cuando era necesario y muy comprensivo. La comunicación con Ritchie y Nicki fue excelente y mejor de lo que normalmente tenemos. La casa en sí estaba bien preparada y muy limpia. No tuvimos problemas reales y los pequeños que sí se solucionaron de inmediato sin ningún problema. Definitivamente un lugar que recomendaría y volvería.

    1100 sqft of living space In Idyllic setting within its own 5 acres in the very center of Hurley with own private entrance to the Olde Bell where you benefit from exclusive 20 % discount on food and drink. 3 very big rooms with 2 Super King size beds, Large bathroom with 2 sinks, very big shower, bidet, and jacuzzi.Television including Amazon Video.I am sorry we don’t allow children as we have expensive plantation blinds in all the rooms.
    The rooms are furnished in a minimalist modern style ,with nice handmade beds by Indigo.Egyptian cotton sheets and towels. 3 very big rooms, lounge with super king size bed, dining room, and another bedroom featuring lovely poster bed.Very large bathroom with 2 wash basins,Grohe Rain Shower,and Jacuzzi and 2 separate heated towel rails,and clothes rack. Important we have NO KITCHEN but there is a Fridge-Freezer ,and big Panasonic microwave,cutlery and glasses ,together with Kettle and Toaster.You will need to clean the glasses and plates in the bathroom sinks. Set in 5 acres ,parking for 2 cars. You can dine 1 mins away at the Olde BELL HOTEL as we have our own private entrance and benefit from 20 per cent off food and drink which I negotiated with them upon your stay with us or the Rising Sun Pub,or Hurley House which is 5 mins drive. You may enjoy the private grounds but please respect our privacy on our side of the house.
    Hurley is a lovely Thames village conveniently situated for Henley ,Marlow and london.

  • Este es un lugar apartado en el hermoso pueblo de Hurley. Te quedas en un ala de la casa principal, con 2 habitaciones enormes, con camas muy cómodas, de calidad 5 *, king (o más grandes). La casa está en un terreno apartado y el aire es muy fresco. Como Mark aclara, no hay cocina per se, solo una tetera, nevera, tostadora y microondas. Durante unos días, eso no importa y puedes caminar a los pubs cercanos (o hacia Marlow) para comer. El Támesis está a 5 minutos a pie de la casa, y hay caminatas y ciclos en todas las direcciones en uno de los lugares más bellos del sureste de Inglaterra. Muy recomendable. Le daría 6 estrellas si pudiera.

  • La casa de Mark se encuentra en un entorno realmente tranquilo junto a la calle Hurley, que estaba a menos de diez minutos de High Wycombe y de la M40, que era genial para mi viaje. Es muy espacioso, limpio y ordenado. Las dos habitaciones y el baño eran enormes y muy bien equipados con muebles encantadores. Aunque no hay una cocina formal, existe la instalación de una nevera, hervidor de agua, microondas y tostadora, por lo que se puede hacer lo básico, sin embargo, con un encantador pub al lado, esto realmente no fue un problema. Mark es un excelente anfitrión que responde muy rápidamente. Se lo recomendaría tanto a un viajero de negocios que quiere algo diferente del hotel genérico habitual como a cualquiera que desee explorar el área local.

    An enchanting Grade ll Listed house from the 15th Century, approached via long tree-lined driveway, surrounded by paddocks. Set amidst formal gardens and lawns, giving a high degree of seclusion and privacy. The house+studio sleeps and accommodates up to 18 people comfortably; it is not intended for use as a venue for large receptions or parties. NOTE: The Airbnb site doesn't let us include this on their booking calendar; but we require a 3 night minimum stay over Bank Holiday weekends.
    The Old Grange is a Grade ll Listed house, surrounded by well-maintained gardens that include two ponds and a stream/moat. A tennis and basketball court is located a short walk from the main house. A barn located near one of the ponds is used to store maintenance equipment and will be off-limits to guests. The main house has a large, fully equipped kitchen/informal dining area that can seat up to 8 people, with further seating for 2 at the central island. A Conservatory adjoins the kitchen, with doors providing access to the gardens and swimming pool (for use May-September only). The formal dining room is located off the kitchen, with seating for up to 10 guests comfortably. Leading from the dining room is a large drawing room with a wood burning fireplace and seating for 12. Continuing from the reception room there is a library with a wet bar. Next to the library is the main TV room with access to the garden. In total the main house has 6 bedrooms, with a sleeping capacity for 18 guests. Five of the bedrooms have en-suite bath/shower facilities. The detached Studio (see below) can sleep 3 additional people (2 single beds + 1 single sofa bed), for a total of 19 guests. You will be asked to sign a contract stating you will not have more than this number of guests staying at the house during your visit. NOTE: The Airbnb site doesn't let us include this on their booking calendar; but we require a 3 night minimum stay over all Bank Holiday weekends. In the detached studio, on the ground floor, there are many comfortable couches (one is a sofa bed), a pool table which converts to a table tennis set (due to a removable top), a satellite TV, a music system, a kitchenette, and a bathroom. This area is wheelchair accessible, if you can manage one step up. There are two single beds in the loft area which overlook the ground floor. Next to the swimming pool is a second barn containing ping-pong and foosball tables, an upstairs gym with weights, and a treadmill. This barn also houses a steam room, sauna and shower. Instructions to use the steam room and sauna will be provided. A path leads from the sauna and steam room to the outdoor Jacuzzi and swimming pool. The swimming pool is open May-September. It is heated July-September to approximately 25C. If during those 3 months, you would like it heated to 28C, there will be an additional cost of £100/day, payable on arrival with cash. If you want it heated May-June, there will be an additional cost of £100/day of your stay + 2 days in advance of your stay (an additional £200), to bring the temperature up, payable on arrival with cash. Please let us know in advance if you require this. An outdoor stereo system, controlled from the kitchen, allows for music to complement your enjoyment of the pool area. There is no fence or gate around the swimming pool, so young children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Guest access The lower barn containing maintenance and gardening equipment will be off limits to guests. We kindly ask our guests to close all gates they have opened when walking the grounds and gardens. We also request our guests not disturb any sheep in the pasture (there 9 months a year), as they belong to a local farmer.
    We are situated in the heart of the Chiltern hills. Footpaths abound, we have maps at the house. Within a few hours you can walk past Chequers, climb Coombe Hill, see stunning vistas of the Vale of Aylesbury, see swathes of Bluebells and wild garlic in the spring, etc. You can easily walk to 3 local pubs from the house.

    The house when approached from prestigious Park Road, appears as a country cottage, with a modern style. There is a large parking courtyard, with original stable doors retained as the main entrance. Once you step inside, the scale of the house unfolds, with a snug original lounge leading gracefully to the huge living room, piano & 3 m high French doors to the first garden. To the right is the separate dining room with beautiful features, a separate large fully fitted Kitchen, separate self contained apartment suite, utility room and one double bedroom/ office. To the right of the main entrance is a guest cloakroom and the entrance to the beautiful master bedroom suite, 8 m long with French doors to the terraces and huge 8 m long walk through dressing room, illuminated by sky lights & again French doors to the terraces and en-suite. One further double bedroom / office and then upstairs there is a small library space and two lovely ensuite double bedrooms. All furnishings are high quality, double and super king size beds, personal touches throughout the house, beautiful furniture and curtains and fittings throughout. The gardens are a real asset for this property. We have three beautiful gardens, mix of lawns, shrubs and fruit trees which do produce wonderful crops. The cinema room is large, seats 10 people with 3m high ceiling and large windows plus a seating deck overlooking the Stoke Park 11th green, and with your own private access to Stoke Park. This is a beautiful property, and in these times the ideal safe escape from London, secluded, distant yet still only 45 mins by car or 2 mainline train routes to London.
    The house is approached from the prestigious Park Rd, and has a large parking courtyard to the front. At first sight the house appears as a small cottage, but once inside the space reveals itself, layer by layer with numerous features and wow moments. This is a real Gem! The property has a legal right of way through the grounds. Use of Stoke Park club house and gym facilities & tee times are available to guests on temporary basis through the club, on the clubs own terms. We can assist enquiries.
