This was hands down the most beautiful house I’ve ever stayed in! The River Road Farmhouse is absolutely perfect – every detail has been so thoughtfully considered, from the cozy interiors to the incredible garden and outdoor spaces. I’m honestly still in awe of the whole experience. Wendy and her partner have created something really special here – and I’m amazed that they manage it all themselves! The garden was such a bonus – we picked so many fresh veggies during our stay, and even spotted fish in the pond. The outdoor fire pit surrounded by lush plants made our evenings magical. Had a fantastic stay at Olivia's beautiful house in Porepunkah. Particularly enjoyed the breathtaking view of Mt Buffalo from the front porch. Everything was clean and as advertised, all amenities provided. Olivia was a very responsive and hospitable host.

Nice and private location. Close to both Porepunkah and Bright townships. Local tourist booklet was left for us which helped us plan our stay. Friendly cattle greeted us upon arrival as did Ian (owner).

Had a fantastic week at Chris’s place. The house is great and exactly like it looks in the pictures. Bedrooms are big and all have Aircon. Living area has a huge TV and the kitchen is very modern. Garden is massive and the pool and water slide are next level! Our kids basically lived in the pool and loved the slide. If you are heading to Bright I highly, highly recommend Chris’s place - it’s only 2 mins drive from the town center. We’ll definitely be back.

This is our second time staying here. Its a great place to stay and we all enjoy it. Very quiet. Fantastic engagement with Emma organising the booking, lots of info on the local community, easy to get to, and a well organised home for us to stay. Being able to instantly switch off is a great way to start a long weekend and we could all do it here. Comfortable beds. A great lounge to relax on. Well laid out kitchen. Easy to use laundry facilities. Lots of natural light coming in to every room. We are already planning a return visit.

location is amazing. great for a few families and an easy walk to shops and pubs.

A beautiful place with breathtaking views amazing pool to swim in. Mount Buffalo is a very short ride or drive. I would highly recommend this place to friends and family.

We had such a lovely time at Marty’s Airbnb. The accommodation was beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully set up—every detail made us feel right at home. Meeting Marty was an absolute pleasure; he’s warm, friendly, and clearly passionate about creating a welcoming space for his guests. We couldn’t recommend it any more highly. We’ve stayed in numerous Airbnbs in multiple countries, and this one has topped them all. A true gem of a place—we left feeling relaxed, happy, and already talking about coming back!

This place is fantastic. Set amongst some beautiful scenery and the house is cosy but extremely well appointed and charming. We would definitely stay here again.

La Baracca was the most divine stay in the most delicious location. Quiet, private, and divine. Such a beautiful space. The perfect way to spend a weekend in the mountains! Complimentary muffins and everything you need including a full coffee machine which was use to its fullest. The bedding and bathroom, design and thoughtfulness throughout was done with great love. Loved sitting out in the garden, eating outdoors, reading in the cozy chair by the window and sipping cups of herbal tea. I will be back to stay for another solo retreat.

My parents and I loved our stay at the property. Beautiful, peaceful surroundings in nature. The owners were very welcoming, as was their beautiful dog, who didn’t miss the opportunity to have a stick thrown to him in the creek, a short walk away. A great place to go to rejuvenate and only a short drive to Bright. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

great place to stay in NE Victoria. Very well insulated and warm. Well set up for families. Appreciated being able to have our small pup with us. Great spot to stay on Sydney to Melbourne route. I will recommend to other friends and family with small kids and a dog.

This was one of the most beautiful places we’ve stayed, the accommodation was perfect (looks even better in person)! It was a great way to spend Christmas as a couple, the plunge pool keeps you nice and cool in Summer and I’ve already recommended to friends. You can tell it’s a family run location, everyone we spoke to was lovely. We’ll hopefully be returning to experience a Winter break soon 🙂

the moment you arrive at Maudes cottage you know it's special. the attention to detail, love, care and pride that Wendy puts in is exceptional. The cottage is picture book cute, perfectly clean and decorated, functional with style. Wendys messages were genuine and helpful... we definitely want to return one day and hopefully meet the lady behind this gem in the mountains... thank Wendy and Elle
