We had a great stay here! The amenities were wonderful! Our kids loved the pool and the beach at the lake. Lots to do in this area! Jamie was super sweet and very responsive and helpful! She also makes great recommendations! We would definitely stay again!

It was a great peaceful Escape for the weekend. The hosts were very communicative and the place was very clean.

The place was a perfect spot for a work trip. It was clean, quiet, and near the Main Street for food and entertainment.

We’ve been to Rumbling Bald multiple times and this has been my favorite residence of all! It’s easily accessible, has tons of space, and is well equipped. But the host and her proactiveness and accessibility are what make outstanding. We absolutely loved our time there and hope to make it back again sometime!

We felt very lucky to find this place in a pinch. Our other air bnb that we booked a month+ ago had frozen water pipes. Tamera responded very quickly to our panicked, last minute booking. The place is immaculate. We had everything we needed. We were grateful for our stay here.

Wonderful Experience. The Farm is lovely to stay on. Enjoyed eating cheese, ice cream, and cider while watching the cows, horses, and goats. We will be returning!

Cute place for a getaway with 2-4 people. Beautiful deck, small kitchen with what you need for quick cooking, coffee on hand, bathroom nice with what you need, clean and tidy. Loved the convenience to everything to do in the area. Kids loved the pool! I loved the zip line just 15 mins up the road (not included but highly recommend). Very responsive and helpful host. Lake Lure and views are breathtaking.

This was such a beautiful place to stay and Louise was a great host. Also….At the last minute, I was hoping to stay an extra day and she was accommodating. I liked it so much that I would definitely search it up to stay there again. Tania

If you want a country living feel this is the place for you. Very quiet area. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely be back.

What a perfect place! Everything was just as pictured and stocked with everything you would need. We truly felt like we were at second home and not a rental. Home is extremely clean and comfortable with peaceful and beautiful surroundings! We really enjoyed our time there!

We went to Lake Lure to get away and relax for the weekend. We knew that Lake Lure wasn’t 100% back and we were okay with that as that meant it would be less busy and more relaxing. We enjoyed our stay and the Cardinal Cabin was as described. The host was very helpful and had great communication despite being on vacation in a foreign country. We would definitely stay here again.

if you need time away from chaos, this is the place to go! Private, very peaceful, and we felt right at home.

This house is amazing. Very comfortable beds , all bedrooms had king beds and two extra full beds in the “basement “. Kitchen well equipped too. Two grills - gas and charcoal. And an outdoor area for fireplace !

Perfect Mountain Escape! The Foxie Moxie was exactly what we needed for a relaxing trip to the mountains. It was perfect for our family of three and our Aussiedoodle. My husband and son had a blast with the basketball hoop, while I enjoyed some peaceful time in the hot tub and hammock. We were aware of potential road issues due to Helene, and while the road to and from Black Mountain is definitely not for the faint of heart, it was passable—just be aware there are a couple of one-lane sections. The neighbors were wonderful and even tipped us off to a hidden gem: a 10-foot waterfall about a mile up the creek from the property. It was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a secluded mountain stream retreat with all the right touches of relaxation and adventure!

We had a nice stay. It was great to be close to the horses and Suzanne was very welcoming. When we looked at the stay online, we were under the impression that it was a bit more remote. The cabin is right by Suzannes house.

The farmhouse could not have any better for a Christmas getaway...kind of living in a Hallmark movie!! Joe & Beverly are excellent hosts. We made friends with Molly & Cracker Jack the donkeys, not to mention our cat friend. Spotlessly well maintained and decorated. We are looking forward to our return visit!!

Great condo in the mountains. Was visiting for a wedding so a very short stay but this condo had everything we needed. Spacious for a condo and gorgeous patio/porch. Hope to return in the fall and enjoy it longer with all the amenities available.

I loved this little private stay in Lake Lure. after the destruction from the hurricanes, it's amazing to see how strong the community is, how positive their outlook is, and how they've grown closer together through this. Melissa's place was extremely clean, quiet, and BEAUTIFULLY surrounded by the Carolina mountains. I even saw a black bear driving up to the property late at night! the neighborhood is quiet, we honestly didn't think anyone else was around until we saw another car. Overall, a BEAUTIFUL stay. Even with the damage from the hurricane, there was still a ton to do nature-wise, and we stopped at the Gorge zip lining and had an ABSOLUTE BLAST. I definitely recommend this stay 🥰

Very cute condo. Resort access was nice to have as there is not much to do but n the area without driving 30-40mins. But with the resort access, you have several pools, a beach, and lots of other things that will keep you busy. The condo is a good size for two people. The added perk of being able to bring our dog was nice. The kitchen is limited- small air fryer and stove top with minimal container options for putting things in the microwave, but we were able to make it work since we were only there a few days. There is a Keurig with coffee pods, which was nice. Overall, the place is clean, dog friendly, with nice access to a resort.

it was perfect for the 2 of us. We'll absolutely be back and recommend it for anyone who are interested.

Tanja’s garden cottage was nothing short of amazing! She reached out with check in instructions well before my time to check in and even reached out to make sure I got in ok. The cottage was about 10 minutes from town which was nice. Her instructions on how things worked were very helpful and she even left some snacks out for me to have. The bed was also very comfy!

It is rare an Airbnb is even better than the photos but Derek and Misty's place was just that. No matter how much time you are planning to spend at the condo it is equipped with everything you could need and more. I have been coming to Lake Lure for over 10+ years and highly recommend their condo if you are coming with 2-3 people. It is also very pet-friendly. Hoping to be back soon!

April & Derek’s condo was beautiful and included all the necessities and more that we enjoyed while staying there - from washer pods, dryer sheets, extra paper towels, trash bags, coffee pods & seasonings. The one and only down side was the lake was inaccessible and drained on the side we were facing because of the restoration work due to hurricane devastation. We were able to take the kids to the indoor pool, we played mini golf and corn hole and they also had an Easter egg hunt & visit from the Easter Bunny on Saturday. We would love to return when the lake has been restored because it’s a very nice resort only two hours away from us. Oh and the views driving around the towns are amazing.
