This place was great I would definitely book again when in the area.

We had a great time celebrating my husband’s birthday. The cabin was clean and cozy and even decorated for Easter. Kevin is very friendly and responsive. We caught lots of fish from the private dock. The jacuzzi and fire pit made it even more relaxing. The environment is so peaceful. There were people staying in the other cabins when we were there, but we still had our own secluded space. The cabin is only a short 15 min drive from towns with restaurants. We ate several times at the Dairy Palace. They have good food and ice cream for his birthday treat. We were able to purchase bait from Tommy’s Tackle Box (recommended by Kevin) in Eustace. We also found a good Bbq place (Dubb’s Smoke Pitt) and farmers market stand right down the street from the bait store. We hope to return again and highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful outdoor getaway.

5-Star Stay at the Perfect Fishing Getaway! We had an amazing stay at this cozy two-room cottage on Lake Athens! It was the perfect spot for a fishing getaway. The dock was ideal for tying up our boat, making it easy to head out early in the morning or relax on the water in the afternoon. The sunsets over the lake were absolutely stunning—something we looked forward to every night as we sat on the porch and reminisced. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking up fresh meals, and the outdoor smoker was a fantastic bonus for preparing some delicious meals. The friendly neighbors even shared a few great fishing spots with us, which made our trip even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a peaceful lakeside retreat with great fishing, beautiful views, and all the comforts of home, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back!

We had a very good time and we a really didn’t have to leave for anything delivery for everything was available or it was a gated community.

I can't even put in words how awesome our stay was! Shelly's was the best host I've ever had! she's absolutely amazing! we had everything we needed and more! from the time we got there to the time we lefted it was a piece of heaven! We saw all the animals ( kangaroos, dear, ducks, Buffalo, elk ,puppies, sweet dogs, cow and pip ) caught 2 bass ! plus all the people who stayed there had kids like us and the kids played and had so much fun! The paddle boat was a huge hit with the kids ! Me and my husband even had a ride before we lefted! Shelly's an extremely amazing host I can't even tell you how great she is! she was made to host and raise sweet animals ❤️ we didn't want to leave 😢 💔 I can't wait to bring the kids back and my other family next time since there's a double cabin! We needed a place large enough to host a large family and wedding rehearsal dinner. This house fit the bill perfectly. There was a newborn in the family so the separate housing was definitely a plus. The yard was well kept and allowed for some nice pictures. We needed to be able to make the wedding cakes and the kitchen was a perfect fit. We all had a great time.

We loved staying at Susie’s lake house! Our family relaxed and enjoyed our time away. The place was cozy and comfortable and had all of the things we needed. It felt like a home away from home. The location on the lake is wonderful! We will be back!

Steve and Minka’s home was the perfect, peaceful getaway we needed from the hustle and bustle of the city. The home was packed full of amenities and very cozy, exactly as described. The roosters were amusing and it was nice watching the hummingbirds flit around the flowers. Kitchen was fully equipped for any type of cooking and the beds were very comfortable. The pool area was awesome and the view of the sunset was breathtaking from the relaxing hot tub! Thank you again for opening your home to us, we will definitely be back in the future!
