Great stay with David & Justine, very welcoming hosts. Great location in the heart of picturesque Duffield with easy walking access to bars, restaurants and amenities. Really appreciated the breakfast provisions which were topped up daily. All in all a lovely weekend visiting family, would happily return in the future.

Nenita was friendly and and happy to meet us when we arrived in the evening. The accommodation was very well equipped and even had an air fryer. However as we were visiting our daughter locally we only needed the bed and bathroom. Suited us perfectly and we were ok with the bunk bed which was comfortable. Will be back again next time we are visiting

What a brilliant little haven to stay in. I was attending a wedding at Donnington park farmhouse and this gem was just down the road. I’m not used to travelling by myself, but Liz’s emails were really clear and helpful and friendly, the place was clean, cosy, had everything I needed and felt safe and homey, whilst also being surrounded by fields and open space. Two lovely friendly Labrador’s also gave me a bit of fuss to make sure I wasn’t missing my own dog … and some fresh eggs and milk and bread and jam were provided, which meant I was completely self sufficient after a long journey, I couldn’t ask for more. if I’m down again I would absolutely stay again and if I’m with the family I’ll definitely book the barn for all of us.

My sister and I took our elderly mum to Lizzies for a break away and we were not disappointed. Holbrook Barn was everything and more, that we could have hoped for, it was immaculate, clean, and the beds so comfortable there was danger of not wanting to get up! Having a downstairs bedroom with on suite for our mum was just perfect. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need for cooking a full on meal. The accommodation is perfectly located to a lot of places of interest to drive to, Matlock & Bakewell were a couple of our favourites. And finally - the host!.. Lizzie was great! Very responsive to any queries, and very friendly. Holbrook Barn is definitely on my list of re-visits! Highly recommended.

Great air bnb! Had a lovely, relaxed stay here for work. The annex is separate from the house, and had a good kitchenette with plenty of equipment for cooking Nenita is lovely, very friendly and quick to respond.

Two of us had a cosy stay in the annexe with our doggy. It was peaceful and relaxing and the hot tub under the stars was lovely. Would also highly recommend a massage from Mandy.

We had a short stay over Christmas and loved it. The property was stunning and had everything we needed. Britta couldn't have been more helpful. We would highly recommend the Hideaway.

What a great find! Really comfortable and homely and so well appointed. And on top of that, Lynne is so lovely. We were arriving very late (11pm) and with our toddler and Lynne made sure the gate was open so we could cruise in easily and was actually there to welcome and check everything was ok. A high chair was provided (a cot was offered but we brought our own) and a lovely hamper of basics and fruit, too. Everything was perfect - thanks Lynne.

What a truly beautiful home this is. The Annex we stayed in was gorgeous, a little slice of luxury. Everything in there is done to such a high standard and provides everything needed for a short stay(and more). Helen had even left us some homemade brownies and fresh milk which was such a nice touch. The outdoor area is a sun trap with comfy furniture - so comfy and sunny that we didn’t end up exploring Melbourne until dinner time! We had a stroll around their well-maintained gardens and orchard which we loved. The bed is absolutely divine - top quality everything. The place is a 5 minute walk from the main high street and amenities, but far enough away to be quiet. The family couldn’t have been more accommodating. We were lucky enough to see Helen just before we checked out on the last day which we were delighted about as we had read many reviews about how lovely she is. They weren’t wrong 😊 Fab few days - will be back! Thank you Helen and your lovely family x

Michelle was the most amazing host, from the moment I put in a request to book overnight for my partner's 50th birthday, as we were having a meal at the amazing JB Kitchen restaurant around the corner for her she went out of her way to answer all of my questions, and on the day before our stay when the restaurant had an emergency, she even went to find out if they'd be open on the evening we'd booked (which they were, thankfully!), and offered us lifts to and from the restaurant. She was an incredibly welcoming and friendly host, the room and ensuite were pristine, lovely and cosy, a very comfortable bed; kettle, microwave, small fridge, teas and coffees and milk in the fridge, lovely and warm on a cold wintry night - even the bed was warmed up for us! We felt very welcome and well looked after, it was a nice big room and lovely house and we would 100% stay there again and wholeheartedly recommend. You can also order breakfast for the morning, which we did, and it was very tasty! Fab!

I cannot recommend both Ruth as a wonderful host and The Annexe as a fantastic place to stay enough! The Annexe is easy to find and in a beautiful setting! I immediately felt at home and welcome the second I stepped foot inside. Everything was clean, welcoming and there was even milk in the fridge ready for a coffee! Not only was I staying in beautiful Starkholmes with a plethora of walks at my door, I had a gorgeous view from the balcony which was an absolute pleasure to wake up to! Ruth was super friendly and really accommodating, even recommended some places I could get a replacement charger cable as mine died a death! Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome and for such a wonderful break. I hope to be back soon!

This was the third time I'd stayed and that in itself says it all. Fantastic caring, considerate hosts. We count Tom and Liz as good friends. In terms of location, it suits me perfectly and the only down- side, which is not their fault, is that the approach from Mapperley itself is down Beech Avenue which is very steep for those of us who aren't too good in the knee department. It is also very pot-holed, so heading to Mapperley Top where there are over 20 places serving food, including a Costa's and a Wetherspoons pub, is much easier by car, though very bumpy but well worth it - and there is 2 hours free parking day-time and totally free parking after 6pm. If visiting Nottingham, which I try to do annually, this is now like a second home and I couldn't wish for better hosts.

Really handy location when competing at Arena UK, it was beautiful, very private and a lovely location with more than enough space for us. We wish we could have stayed longer! Dog friendly was such a bonus too and we loved sitting out in the garden. Thanks very much will definitely come again

Just as described, comfortable and peaceful, private room with a private bathroom. Well equipped shared kitchen as well as min-kitchenette in the room. Stayed for almost 2 months. Had a wonderful time and Tomasz is so quick to help with any request . Would recommend to anybody who came across this listing .

I had a great stay at Mandip’s place. She’s very professional and communicates promptly, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The room was a decent size and self-contained, which I really appreciated for my privacy and convenience. The location was perfect for me close to my workplace and easy to get around. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Excellent self contained accommodation. Tasteful decor and furnishings with modern kitchen and bathroom. The apartment was very welcoming with some lovely gestures of provisions in the fridges and a vase of flowers. Great communication throughout our stay particularly from Janet who checked in with us almost daily. We will definitely be booking the apartment again when we are next visiting our family.

I loved the ambience of the house. It was peaceful. Mandip was also ready to help even though it was a pretty late booking. Mandip kept following up from locating the house (even though the description was clear on the booking) till I was settled in. It also had all the amenities listed.

I loved how the host was responsive to me and made sure I had the perfect stay. It was such a lovely, peaceful place, I would recommend
