We had a wonderful stay at The Granary. The setting is exceptional and you feel like you’re in a historic hamlet in the middle of beautiful, peaceful countryside. The hosts were great, leaving us to our own devices but on hand and responsive if needed. The Granary has been expertly restored as have the other historical buildings on site and the grounds are beautifully presented. We had everything we needed in the property. We would highly recommend booking a stay. Don’t forget your swim wear - the pool and jacuzzi are fantastic!

Fantastic cottage! It’s our second time staying here as we love it so much! The hot tub is very private and the log fire makes it really cosy! The cottage was very clean & today with everything you could need! Will definitely be booking to come back a third time!

Great stay with hot tub and open fire! If you're looking for a romantic getaway and country walks on your door step with great pubs, this is your place! So well equipped from kitchen to robes and slippers. Warm, homely and private. really enjoyed our stay.

Our group had a wonderful stay in this property. A beautiful historical house, cosy kitchen and fireplace to play board games in front of (or watch the rugby instead). Corner store was easily walkable, so too the local pub (we recommend the Crown). Perfect place to catch a break.

The place was absolutely beautiful and cozy feels like we’re just at home chilling. Every part of the room is spacious. Spotless clean. Backyard was big where we set up the party. Host was kind and responsive. We enjoyed our time spent in his place. Will definitely come back

Miranda's cottage is very well situated and set up for doing as we did - enjoying the local area, taking advantage of hot summer days by the pool, and walking in the woods with kids. Highly recommended for families of 4 or even more if you're prepared to really use the space. My kids were very happy sleeping in the twin beds, and we were able to use every inch of the place.

Carina was a good host and always available without being intrusive. The property is well priced and cosy with all the amenities required for an extended stay with lots to do on the doorstep in the beautiful area as well easily accessible links to the motorways to travel further afield. We visited the place and used it as a base as a family of 5 and spent a lot of the time out of the property as we were visiting family in the area. The amenities were great and we were able to wash the kids clothes that were getting dirty from all the outdoor activities available on the doorstep, we did a fair bit of walking in the surrounding country trails and went to legoland which is close by, the local pub was within walking distance and served fantastic food at a great price. I have nothing negative to say about the accommodation and host and would welcome another visit here, if I was to add a constructive appraisal would perhaps look to update the soft furnishings for a enhanced experience.

We had a lovely stay at Jo’s place. There are so many lovely walks you can do without driving anywhere as this is right on Ashdown Forest. The place itself was absolutely lovely. The most comfortable bed and very tastefully furnished and clean. A real home from home! It was lovely to meet Jo and we will definitely come back!

What a great setting for an escape to the country! I already miss waking up with the chickens and pigs to greet me every day. I also saw more wild animals and birds in my walks around here in a week, than I have in years in London. Auriol is a great host, relaxed, knowledgeable and friendly, and the property is exactly as described and shown here. Tips for other travelers: If you’re a light sleeper bring an eye mask and earplugs as it does get sunny in the main bedroom. Looking forward to returning here!

What a great find tucked away up a quiet residential road....in the morning with the birdsong we felt we could have been in the countryside! The house was bigger than we'd expected and the outside space was a real bonus in the lovely weather. Two big ticks were the comfortable beds and good water pressure for the shower - we look forward to staying again when we're in the area.

Mary-Ann was so helpful prior to the stay giving recommendations about places to eat. As we were there during a storm, we lost electricity and Mary-Ann went over and above delivering extra blankets, food and hot thermos. She also checked on us in the morning and delivered hot breakfast. Simply amazing, especially when there was nothing she could do about the national electricity outage. We can't wait to come back!

We were delighted with our stay at the Coach House. As well as being spotlessly clean it was furnished and decorated in a pleasing “ Country Chic” way, which was entirely appropriate. We loved the privacy and leafiness of the surroundings and woke to the sound of the dawn chorus and nothing else! Alison could not have been more helpful, but only came to us when needed. Highly recommended.

Would highly recommend a day what a beautiful property

Jacqueline's Cottage truly lived up to all expectations set forth from previous reviews. The surroundings are peaceful and idyllic, and she has created a "suburban retreat" within SevenOaks. The cottage is very well kept and appointed, and there is very little to desire that has not already been provided, right down to the fresh-baked bread and goodie basket awaiting your arrival. We would recommend the cottage to families, couples, or mature friends traveling together. If you like to enjoy the countryside with walks in the fields, I'd imagine you won't find better. Very ideal for a weekend getaway, long-term stay, or visiting your boarding Sennockian.

We had great pleasure in staying in Judith's lovely cottage for three nights, wished it had been longer. It was so cosy and comfortable, it had everything we needed. This is quite a unique little find. Would love to return.

We had such a cozy, lovely and wonderful stay at Apple Tree Cottage! The cottage is exactly as pictured in the photos and the amenities are wonderful. We loved that there was plenty of wood to use both fireplaces and the fully stocked kitchen. The welcome basket from Julia and Tony was a kind touch and we loved the fresh eggs! My husband also loved the BBQ in the patio. We met both Julia and Tony and they were very friendly. Another plus the local pub just a 1 minute walk from the cottage - we had a great meal there. We also loved the quiet surroundings and went on a beautiful country walk. Julia was very responsive with any questions. This is a great location if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in a stunning area. It’s also perfect for a small group of friends or family. Thank you so much, Julia and Tony! We hope we’ll visit again soon. :)

A beautiful cottage with everything we needed in a peaceful rural environment. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay in Angie's cottage. There are many beautiful walks nearby and Angie provides lots of tips and maps to help guests explore the nearby countryside. The cottage is beautifully furnished with a log burner that heats the whole place. The kitchen has all the amenities you could need and there's coffee, milk, bread and other generous touches waiting for you on arrival. Really recommend staying here if you have the opportunity, we'll definitely return when we can. Angie was attentive and helpful at every turn.
