We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house is spacious with plenty of ensuite bathrooms. It was cosy, comfortable and perfect for us as a group of friends but would be good for families too. The location is lovely- it is set in a charming area with a shop just a minute away. We loved the fact it is surrounded by picturesque English villages with quaint cafes, restaurants and really gorgeous old pubs with open fires. Lovely rambles on the doorstep too. The house itself was idyllic and spotlessly clean. French doors in the main bedroom and living room open to stunning lake views creating a peaceful, nature-filled retreat. Waking up to birdsong and watching ducks on the lake was magical. Handy for quick access to Manchester and airport and great value for money. The host was helpful. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Knockerdown cottages. It was everything we hoped for and more. The children enjoyed the facilities (swimming pool and field for playing games) and we had some lovely walks in the surrounding area. Thank you very much! We look forward to revisiting soon!

Lovely accommodation, perfect for a group gathering. All the rooms were very comfortable. The setting was really peaceful with beautiful views. The kitchen was well equipped and the conservatory perfect for everyone to eat together. Emily and Isobelle were really accommodating around having extra people camping and late check out etc.

We had a great stay at Kingfisher Cottage whilst visiting family. Matt was very responsive and helpful and provided several local recommendations. The location of the cottage next to the river is perfect for a peaceful drink in the evening and our 4 year old enjoyed paddling and watching the cows. Peter’s place was exactly as it looks in the photos, finished to a high standard, and clean throughout. We had sky tv & Netflix throughout the house (including the cinema room), and enjoyed the easy to use Sonos-style speakers that are situated throughout the house. There are walkable shops and pubs in the village nearby and it’s a short drive to Tatton Park, Quarry Bank or Alderley Edge if you’re looking for outdoor walks. The pond & stream in the garden are great to look out upon and provide a peaceful setting. Everything was straight forward but Peter was easily contactable if we needed him. A great stay overall and we wouldn’t hesitate to return.

We had a beautiful stay here having a catchup with friends . Everywhere is immaculate, there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay from hair straighteners to an air fryer! Stacey was extremely responsive when we had any queries. The location was perfect for nice walks and not far from Congleton Town center for lots of restaurants and bars. Thank you for a lovely stay and we will definitely be back again in the future!

Lovely place to stay for a few days. Me and my wife were at a wedding and it was a great base. Lovely walks along the river to the Riverside Pub/Restaurant. Great location and easy to get around from it

We stayed couple of nights and had a good time. It’s spacious for 4 people and can easily spend days exploring nearby walks and spending time next to lake , Our little one enjoyed the trampoline and the game room. Would definitely book again in the future.

**Absolutely Perfect Stay!** My two friends and I, along with our 3 young children, had an incredible experience at this homestay. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The place was spotless—cleanliness was clearly a top priority, and it made the stay feel even more comfortable and relaxing with the lovely addition of the hottub! The location couldn’t have been better. It was conveniently situated close to everything we needed within a short drive or nice walk, but still peaceful enough to feel like a retreat. The space itself was very cozy and well-furnished, with all the comforts of home. Natasha was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always just a message away if we needed anything! Messages were responded to promptly and smoothly which made everything so easy. Checking in and out was effortless! Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. I highly recommend it and would absolutely return in a heartbeat! Thank you!

We spent the Easter long weekend at this beautiful and peaceful place. The kids loved the trampoline, swings and games. When the sun was out, having lunch outside was really nice. The pond is a beautiful sight from the windows, and the walks nearby are worth exploring too.

Natalie and Tony are the nicest couple ever, very open, friendly and welcoming, definitely recommend staying at the schoolhouse, nice comfy bed and a peaceful nights sleep.

We had a lovely stay at Cal and Liz’s place, it’s a beautiful home, just as described in the listing. We had visited a spa nearby and didn’t arrive until late, but they were really accommodating and kindly let us check out a little later, which we really appreciated. We also had a lovely chat with them in the morning, they’re such kind and welcoming people. Would definitely recommend!

Staying at The Travel Fox truly felt like one of the most wonderful experiences we've ever had. The welcoming atmosphere allowed us to not only relax but also deepen our bond as friends. We cherished our time by the fire pit, cooking our own meals outdoors, which made the whole experience even more special. It’s a place that holds great memories for us, and we can’t wait to go back!

Was a beautiful peaceful place with many walks nearby and a lovely tea room just 2 minutes away.

Gavin was very helpful. We was in another disgusting property from airbnb and we ended up getting moved over to Gavin's property around 10:30pm. He was more than helpful with every step of the booking and how to get to and access the property. The property was clean, tidy and homely. Loads of cooking utensils which if you stay in a lot of airbnb's is an absolute bonus. Shops in walking distance. Parking literally outside the front door with permit. All round great experience. Thank you again Gavin much appreciated.

Great stay, very close to alton towers which is why we went here. Bed was very comfortable and the sheets was so soft, had a great night's sleep! David left tea, coffee and milk which was a great touch 👌 having access to sky TV was great as this doesn't usually happen. The jacuzzi bath was lovely, loved the lights. David was a great host and was there if you needed him. overall very pleased with our visit 😊

We only stayed a night at the house but it was very comfortable and clean, we could park our minibus safely on the drive. It’s a quiet area right next to some lakes. An easy drive or cab into the city centre so plenty to do.

House was as advertised, very clean and perfect for four colleagues on a visit to Stoke-on-Trent for work.

Amazing place in an amazing location. Close to alton towers for us to visit, but also close to Cheadle / smaller villages for shopping / sightseeing too. Forgot to take insect repellent so remember to take for the hot weather we have been getting! We never had a wheelchair with us on this occasion but thinking of taking my grandfather who is in a wheelchair to this location. Looking to come back soon.

The owners are lovely and helpful people who responded immediately when we needed to resolve a situation (batteries in a heating control panel) and turned up with a bottle of wine and bisquits for the little inconvenience. Stay was pleasant, location is super quiet and bed comfortable - had great sleep. Place has everything we needed. Parking was not a problem (free street parking). Would stay again.
