We really enjoyed staying at Tracey‘s house which is a great starting point for exploring Tongariro National Park! The house is well equipped and very clean.

A perfect little spot for our family to stay whilst road tripping down the North Island. Lucy was very accommodating toward us, and the cabin had everything we needed, including cosy beds, a powerful little heater and a well kitted out little kitchen.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in dem Bootshaus. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet und das Frühstück ist sehr lecker. Wer das Tongariro Crossing machen möchte, erhält viele hilfreiche Informationen von den Gastgebern. Ausserdem konnten wir Kayaks ausleihen und einen wunderschönen Fluss hinauf paddeln. Wir können das Bootshaus sehr empfehlen. Wir danken Barb und Mike für ihre Gastfreundlichkeit.

We had a wonderful stay an Jannel‘s tiny house. It was perfect to explore the Tongariro national park - just a 30 min to 1h ride to the most important hikes in the park. The proximity to Ohakune was great to quickly get some groceries and take aways. The restaurants were nice! Still, the location of the tiny house 15 min out of town was great to relax and watch stunning sunrises. Jannel and her family were very welcoming and friendly.

Exceptional views, great amenities with outdoor deck areas. Darren was very friendly, helpful & gave us some useful tips.

The elevation of property in Acacia Bay ( not far from centre) provides spectacular views of Taupo and surrounding area. Lodge was extremely spacious and comfortable with quality fittings. The hosts provide little extras to welcome you and kitchenette has all the aspects to make breakfasts and meals. We would love to return to enjoy the fabulous view, local Acacia Bay restaurant and hot pools.

Beautiful, quiet accommodation - small but had everything required for a lovely stay. Ideal spot - lots to do eg; biking, hiking etc

The view of lake Taupo from Jade’s place was amazing! It was very peaceful, we loved sitting on the deck in the evening looking at the lake enjoying a glass of wine! The suite is very spacious which was nice. It was a great spot to stay and enjoy Taupo( a 5 min drive to the town and lakefront) and to do day trips to Rotorua.

Nikki’s place was a peaceful retreat. Very quiet and lovely surroundings. We liked the closeness to the river walk. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. We’d stay again, for sure.

Brilliant host. Was a very late check in and Elizabeth arranged everything to go smoothly when we arrived. Very clear instructions and the view was breathtaking. An amazing place with an amazing host.

Very nice place with a lot of services at your disposal, the room for 5 is very good, I recommend!
