200 year old cottage nestled in a white-washed courtyard, lovingly restored and brought to life. All the modern comforts integrated between stone walls and rustic beams in a beautiful rural setting. Located half a mile from Tollymore Forest and by car we are 5 mins from Mourne Mountains, 5 mins from Newcastle and 5 mins from Castlewellan. The cottage is in the midst of our working horse farm, horses, chickens, dogs and donkeys are all part of the family. Dogs and horses are welcome guests.

Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.

This cosy mid terraced house is located just behind the Main Street. It is within minutes’ walk to the cafes, bars and restaurants of Newcastle, a lovely scenic part of Northern Ireland. Number 7 is ideally situated for access to the Mourne Mountains, the beach and Royal County Down Golf course. In an idyllic quiet setting, there are breath-taking views and easy access to walking and biking trails nearby. A cosy one-bedroom detached cottage, sleeping 2 adults + 2 children or 4 adults, this is a perfect rural retreat for relaxation or a base to explore everything the local area has to offer.

This is a self contained loft space with its own entrance, while still being part of our home. It has its own ensuite shower room, a small kitchen/dining area with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, sink and a 2-ring portable hot-plate. Please note….. it does NOT have an oven. It also has a settee & satellite TV. There is also access to our WiFi Internet.
