We spent four wonderful nights at Sally's house and couldn't have been happier with our stay. The location is absolutely perfect—right next to the stunning Redwood Forest—in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. It was an ideal base for exploring all the sights around Rotorua. The house itself is beautiful, with spacious bedrooms, very comfortable beds, and two well-appointed bathrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed, and the living room was roomy and great for relaxing after a day out. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Such a beautiful home! We stayed here for the red stag marathon and it was perfect. Location was amazing, the home was stunning and clean, the hot tub was perfect for after the race. Carla was so responsive and gave really easy instructions for check in. It was the perfect Airbnb for our group.

Thank you for your hospitality Juliette. Our family loved staying at your place. The kids especially grew very fond of Moka. They were sad to say goodbye to him. As a host Juliette was very friendly and easy to communicate with. She was always just a phone call away and answered all our questions. House was very cosy and comfortable. The backyard / deck area was the best for our three little people who enjoyed kicking the ball around in and riding their bikes. It was completely secured which was a bonus (especially with our wandering two year old) ! Would highly recommend!

Geraldine’s house was gorgeous. On arrival we were absolutely blown away by the location and her beautiful home. So many lovely welcoming touches like the stereo playing, lovely scented fragrances, freshly baked cake, coffee pods, chocolates and delicious breakfast goodies in the fridge which we weren’t expecting. We felt at home immediately. An abundance of firewood was also available to light the fire which made the house very cosy. On the morning of our departure, Geraldine messaged us to offer a complimentary late check out which we greatly very appreciated. We had a wonderful time in Rotorua and Geraldine’s home was the icing on the cake. We look forward to returning again one day.

Our party of 7 felt like it was a home away from home. We enjoyed bbqing for dinner and even relaxing at night watching some Netflix. The kitchen was totally stocked to allow us to make meals. One of the nights got cold and the heating worked well to warm everything up. Comfy beds, clean and great space for all of us. Thank you!

Excellent location in a quiet area with awesome view of Lake Rotorua. Extremely clean and tidy - just like the photos. Very clear and friendly communication. Perfect base for a short stay in Rotorua.

The perfect spacious place to spend a couple of days while we explored the area. Loved all the windows which let in lots of light, plus the lake view from the living area was pretty special. We felt very at home during our stay, the airbnb is filled with curated artwork, books and good furniture pieces, that seem made for the space. There was a big comfy sofa, plus a basket full of dry firewood (much appreciated, as the weather cool and rainy during our visit). The full kitchen is well equipped, and included a coffee machine, although the local store by the Falls does a good coffee too. We'd love to come back during summer to explore the region further. Thanks for having us to stay.

And the electric blanket was a blessing.” - says mum If you’re looking for a comfortable resting place with tasteful decor, luxurious & unique additions like a towel warmer rack, homemade jams, Netflix on tv, extra pillows & cushions, actually nice smelling bathroom products, a cookie jar & coffee machine, fruit from the garden if you’re lucky, filtered spring water every day, and a little lovely breakfast bar, look no further than Janey’s place. So many extras I hadn’t expected, Janey went above and beyond to accommodate my mum and myself with such warmth & kindness. Oh did I mention the water view from the rooms? Spectacular. We stayed 4 nights and loved coming back to being able to have dinner at home, even with a kitchenette, some extra cooking appliances from Janey helped, she was just so thoughtful! Thank you Janey, you made our trip with your hospitality. Highly recommend.

Quiet and peaceful stay, especially after an action filled day in Rotorua. Close enough to everything yet tucked away in a quiet street. Well thought out and you have everything you need. Thank you for having us.

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (tween). The apartment was beautifully furnished and comfortable, it had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathroom and we loved that it had a spa. It is little but big enough for the four of us and has a very cosy atmosphere. It was slightly out of town at the top of a hill, which had the added benefit of not being as fragrant as Rotorua town :-) We used our rental car to get into town and to the bike park it was very straightforward. Definitely recommend would stay again.

This Airbnb was lovely and had an awesome view of the lake right out the window plus a big balcony and it felt private as we were right on the shore basically. There was a lovely garden and we could take fruit if we wanted so got some feijoas :) The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner and it had a washing machine as well and our clothes dried fast outside in the sun. The listing said the wifi could be variable but we found it fine in the lounge and dining area and I was able to do a Zoom class with video with no issues. We met the host Marie as well and she was very friendly! Would love to stay here again in the future.
