We loved our stay at Lauren and Sam’s. Was so peaceful waking up to the incredible view of the lake. Beautiful gardens and felt resort like. The hidden spa in the evening is a must do!!! Thank you so much for having us and we would stay again in an instant. 5 star everything.

Had a weekend away with two old and dear friends and had a wonderful time. The spa was a treat on the Friday night after our respective long drives. The rooms were all comfortable. We all LOVED the big comfy sofa! Great having two bathrooms between us. Fully equipped kitchen. Corner shop 10m down the road for any essentials. The fireplace would be lovely in winter. Was a short drive to many things in Rotorua, so we thought it was a great location. Super close to the redwoods treetop walk. Nothing was more than a 25min drive. We made it to Kerosene creek, the luge, Polynesia spa, the blue lake, secret spot hot tubs, treetops walk at redwood and the Humarana springs all in the space of one weekend. We also did the Rotorua parkrun which was a 5min drive away - awesome, highly recommend doing this!

Katie, the host is very helpful and responsive to emails..the accommodation is very homely. The linens and beds are very comfortable and sheets smells fresh. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic place to stay with all you need. Great indoor, outdoor living. Beautiful lake and easy home for all to enjoy. Lynley was very responsive and accommodating and we’d happily recommend and stay again.

We used Joss and Wayne's place for a team building retreat. It was perfect. Plenty of bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen for our self-catering, beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Joss and Wayne were great hosts - showed us where everything was and then left us to it. As well as the great kitchen, there was also a lovely outside area with a BBQ for relaxing at night. Great venue. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay here The view is fantastic and we had everything we needed. It is very family friendly, there is a box of toys for children, some board games and a garden to run around in. One of my group has some mobility issues so it helped that this place was mostly on one level, with only a few steps here and there. The kitchen has pretty much everything you need for preparing meals. It's the kind of place where kitchen items left from previous people are there so there were was cooking oil, salt and spices we could use. There is a coffee plunger and a mocha pot (bring your own ground coffee and milk) to use. The street is quiet, with the occasional bleating of sheep and safe. There is lots of space and three loos so good for groups. I would recommend this place and definitely stay again.

The location of this was perfect for all things Rotorua! It was big enough for many more than our family. We truly enjoyed the hot tub! The kayaks were a bonus but due to our busy schedule, we did not have time to enjoy. If ever back in the area, we'd definitely be back!!

My friends & I had a marvellous stay. The place was perfect, great views & peaceful surroundings. It was lovely being on the deck, watching the birds & looking out onto Lake Rotoiti. We were there for mountains biking & paddleboarding on the lake. It is 20mins to the mtbike tracks. The instructions & local recommendations were great. If you want a peaceful stay in a fantastic location then this is the place to be. Many thanks to the owner :-)

Peter's place is a rare find. Close to the hot spring, 30 min drive from Rotorua town centre. It is a working farm with horses, chicken etc. on site. It is such a special experience when you lift up your head in the room and see a horse staring at you through the window. We had great time there.

We went on a business trip and decided to extend our stay and make a mini holiday out of it. Once we arrived after numerous meetings, my colleague and I went to check in and it was super easy. Enough towels and we didn't have to share a bed and had both our own space when we were ready to turn in for the night. Large kitchen and two bathrooms, which made getting ready easy as we didn't have to be in each others space at all times. We had a spa and when we raised an issue of the outside heater not working, Dharmen was wonderful and immediatly exchanged it the next morning whilst we were out and about.

A great place to explore from for all Rotarua offers, also well positioned close to the Redwoods Forest

Great old school batch that felt very chill. Awesome to get to use the kayaks and lovely walks nearby. Added bonus was the toy box and the box of duplo which made the stay so much easier with the kids!

Dan's place is just a piece of paradise! Right in front of the lake, with private jetty and private ramp, away from the main road, totally safe for children. Highly recommend! Dan is very responsive and welcoming, makes you feel like home. Looking forward to return again!

Such a beautiful place to stay. Felt very homely and our hosts were so accomodating after a long travel day. The views from the house and location were central to everything. Would definitely book again!

Great host, excellent house & great location. We stayed for New Years and could see the fireworks over the city. House and pool both clean and lovely.

The shared pool and hot tubs are in the center of the property. The 2 hot tubs are in a building looking out over the lake. The deck above the pool is a private residence. The place itself had thoughtful touches like a fan and a portable space heater, as well as plenty of dishes and glassware in the kitchen. The check in treats were tasty and they had many tea options in the pantry. Wifi worked well and the beds were comfortable. Due to the rain we did not use the kayaks, but saw them all in the shed. My only recommendation would be additional sleeping pillows, as the ones at the place were pretty flat and the large white ones were too big to sleep on comfortably.

Clean and comfortable. Matched pictures. Great location for a variety of activities. Responsive and helpful host. Had everything we needed. Second double bed was rather soft, not as comfortable as the master bedroom. Very happy with our visit. Thanks!
